While this tournament will almost certainly happen, it is not for another 17 years - planning for this tournament is a long way from starting. There is nothing substantive to be said about it at this point in time. Article purely consists of speculation on possible hosts, with nothing to back it up. Delete. • Delete. WP:NOT a crystal ball. (Plus even the youngest current players are likely to be too old to take part in this event when it occurs). In addition, I think the Football World Cup 2018 article should probably be AfDed too, although there is some discussion about it at the WikiProject Football. • Delete, while 2018 is still so vaguely defined - anything that can be said about 2022 can also be said about 2018. I'd also support a redirect back to Football World Cup, to prevent it getting continually recreated over the next few years ;) sjorford #£@%&$?! 19:38, 12 September 2005 (UTC)
