- This was created as part of splitting out Tourism in Tokyo following a recent AfD. A laudable goal, but I think an incorrect method -- as is, there's not enough context for a full article. I suggest merging this into List of parks and gardens in Tokyo, another fork from this road, which lists most of these sites. Including flowers and viewing seasons is reasonable information for public parks, especially given its cultural significance. —Quasirandom (talk) 21:00, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- Merge. I'm the one who did the splitting of the Tourism in Tokyo article (after having previously nominated it for deletion). I've been lurking around here deciding how to vote for the past couple days, and I think Quasirandom has convinced me that this is worth merging. I'm not sure how culturally important flowers in Tokyo are, but it seems likely that they're not so unimportant they would be a detriment to the parks and gardens article. (According to the Festivals in Tokyo article, for instance, there are wisteria and azalea festivals, and the shrines around which these festivals center are the locations mentioned in the flowers article.) I think that List of parks and gardens in Tokyo should be moved to Parks and gardens in Tokyo, and this redirected and merged there. Calliopejen1 (talk) 22:40, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
