[edit] Fighting anime
Contested prod. Article does not establish the notability of the term. Given the user who contested the prod a few weeks to improve the article but nothing has changed. I'm not going to list the policies that the article violates, it really should have been speedied Squilibob 23:20, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

- Delete per my original prod of Original research based on a neologism. No sources are attributed to back up any claims. --Farix (Talk) 23:27, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

- Redirect to Shonen, since that's what most of these are. --tjstrf talk 09:38, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Comment If they're not all shounen, then it shouldn't be redirected there. Some magical girl anime and sentai anime can be classed as fighting, in a sense. --Wirbelwindヴィルヴェルヴィント (talk) 18:37, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Reply. If I'm a newbie enough anime fan to wiki the phrase "Fighting anime" then I also am quite unlikely to know of the existence of seinin series. While it is a neologism, it is also a reasonable enough search term that making it redirect to the most related series would be helpful. --tjstrf talk 05:59, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

- Redirect to Shōnen. Although the term could apply to magical girl and sentai it is used by most to refer to Shōnen fighting manga/anime. Also, the fact that people are pointing out that it could apply to many genres indicates that it is definitely transgressing WP:NEO. Coder Keitaro 21:35, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Delete, neologism pure and simple. Realkyhick 06:05, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
