This page should be deleted because it has had no additional information added to it since its creation in June 2005. If there is sufficient need for the article in future, I suggest that it be created anew by a user with more time and resources to devote to Mr Buchanan than the originator of the page. As it stands, the page is not a useful entry for an enclyclopædia (aeropagitica) 00:55, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

I've now added some more information from books about Davis, and think Buchanan is of sufficient interest to keep. Failing that, merge with Miles Davis, as his contribution to Davis's style was considerable. Perodicticus 18:26, 29 December 2005 (UTC)
