[edit] Eliyathamby
Suspected hoax. Vsion 05:11, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete, WP:OR, WP:HOAX, WP:V, nonsense. I've never heard of this person before, and no matter how much the SGpedians' tried to verify it, we have to conclude that it is a hoax. Some imaginary person, or if he really exists, non-notable. Terence 13:13, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete as hoax. DarkAudit 14:39, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete as unverifiable and likely OR; see the talk page for full details. Resurgent insurgent 15:47, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Lots of 'yes, it's all true' statements there, but no one has yet been able to produce any proof. Saying that The Straits Times has proof in their archives, but no one can get to it is a useless statement. DarkAudit 16:57, 11 May 2007 (UTC)
- Anyone can access back issues of The Straits Times at the National Library of Singapore – you don't need any particular "level of authorization" to do that. Is it possible that some of the comments in support of the article were by sock puppets? Jacklee 23:10, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- Delete – As mentioned on the Talk page, I ran all the books listed in the "References" section through the on-line catalogues of the National University of Singapore Libraries and the National Library of Singapore. The only one which popped up was the first book in the list. I also did a "Find" on the web page containing the Genealogy of the Royal Family of Jaffna listed in the "External links" section, and "Eliyathamby" did not appear anywhere on it.
