This pseudohistorical and very funny treatment of the development "resting technology" in France, England and Germany is likely a hoax. The article attempts to adduce a connection between military victories and superior sleeping comfort. If such a connection exists, it is likely peripheral; in any case, no references are provided. A deleted article created by the same author [James Badro] also makes references to atmchairs and napping.
