[edit] Dori dori
Not even a dictdef, just the Japanese pronunciation of an English word. RickK 10:25, Mar 13, 2005 (UTC)
- Do we have a list of Japanese onomatopoeias here or on Wiktionary that this can be merged into? If not, just delete. —Korath (Talk) 10:32, Mar 13, 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, foreign dictionary definition. Megan1967 11:14, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Either Keep and merge if the list exists, Delete otherwise.Ethereal 11:22, Mar 13, 2005 (UTC)
- Transwiki unless something more than a dicdef can be found - David Gerard 13:15, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Why transwiki? This is not a definition of a word, this is the Japanese pronunciation of an English term. RickK 21:19, Mar 13, 2005 (UTC)
- The word is used in Japanese (image search), so it would be helpful to be able to look it up in wiktionary. Kappa 01:35, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Can you confirm that the definition is correct, though? While it certainly looks reasonable, I'm hesitant to transwiki without some kind of confirmation; it's not in any of the dictionaries I have handy, and my Japanese is so out of practice as to make searching through the google hits impractical. (Admittedly, I don't have a specialized gitaigo dictionary.) —Korath (Talk) 02:14, Mar 14, 2005 (UTC)
- Actually the google image hits above confirm that it's used for drift racing. I've rewritten it to clarify that. Kappa 10:18, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
