[edit] Discrimination against non-Muslims in Pakistan
For reasons see: Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Discrimination against non-Muslims in Iran. Copy and past of US State Department report. The title is POV and the source (US government on Islamic country) is not neutral OneGuy 21:01, 13 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Delete I am my self Pakistani although there might be some but the article is just not fit for an encylopedia. Seperate Election system has been ebolished. Any way Seperate Election system was demanded by muslims when they were minority in India. So they thought they can give same rights to Pakistani Minorities. When they disliked it. It was abolished. I think total cases of 'toheen-i-Risalat' won't be more then 2,3. Zain 00:58, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Delete POV title ... and would we post on Wikipedia Iranian government report on Israel or the US? OneGuy 02:34, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Do not delete--Malbear 05:56, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Do not delete -- if there specific claims made that are factually incorrect, they can be fixed. Perhaps the title should be changed to the more neutral Situation of non-Muslims in Pakistan. Ferdinand Pienaar 06:35, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- That's also not right ... how about Status of religious freedom in Pakistan? OneGuy 06:49, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
- Delete - Big POV. This is US state communication material: it is not an attempt at fairly reporting on the subject. It is fundamentaly biased for it is the expression of a country 1) at war 2) christian. Also, there is no point in blandly duplicating this material. IMO it's worth a link but not duplication in WP. - Merge or move. The US State Department reports are generally a credible source, and are public domain, but the article title isn't NPOV, and there is no need to duplicate large portions of the report — that's better left to Wikisource. Put what is useful into articles with more NPOV titles, leave the rest. Shimeru 20:29, Jan 14, 2005 (UTC)

- Delete. The article just given a one sided view and actually does't reflect the liberty given to minorities in Pakistan. Remeber we have seen several issues even in westren world becuase of Christ even, so its always good , if you respect the prophets and leadors of other religions. This is the basic requirement to live in one world together. Therefore , this is rule that brings harmony and peace rather then distraction. Therefore, i think so the article is just baised and such baised articles should not be included in the Wikipedia. Wikipedia is a place where we look for definite reference rather then disputed one's.
