[edit] Coyote Bones
Indie rock band whose article hints at assertions for notability. They imply that they've toured nationally but don't actually say so. There is an alleged tour planned for later this year. They only have one released CD which doesn't appear to have charted in any major chart. 725 ghits (using search term "coyote bones" -blog). CSD was denied due to slight assertions. Doesn't appear to satisfy WP:BAND WebHamster 11:59, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- Delete not a hint of a sniff of a glimmer of notability. As written, it screams non-notable. MarkBul 16:22, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- Strong delete, bandcruft. I love these CSD's that are declined because of the bare assertion of notability. Not notable, fails WP:BAND. Realkyhick 17:19, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
I think you are being failing to research the band further and thus exercising an elitist stance on false deductions. The band is linked directly to Tilly and the Wall's page and The Anniversary. Not to mention the amount of national and international coverage the band has. As for the touring, would you like an excel sheet of the tour history? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Greatgreatwaves (talk • contribs) 20:05, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

- I hate articles like this one. This band appears to have just gotten sorted out, and has connections to what appear to be notable groups like Tilly and the Wall, but hasn't got albums out on a notable label. The band is getting press: [1], Pitchfork Media, a small mention in Philadelphia City Paper (which also affirms that they are indeed touring more than just regionally; Google search indicates they're doing a number of dates through at least the Midwest and to the East Coast), a profile of the founder on flagpole.com... It looks like they might be awful close to making WP:MUSIC, especially with the Spin.com thing, but I'd be far more comfortable with albums on a notable label. Neutral leaning keep.
