Delete per WP:NOT#LYRICS. Unless notability can be asserted. 00:48, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Keep per HSR. It seems notable now, just get rid of the lyrics, and write it a bit more. This article deserves a chance. J-ſtanContribsUser page 02:26, 6 January 2008 (UTC)- Delete per nom & J-stan. Bucketsofg 00:50, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Keep: unless the lyrics violate a copyright, the song is notable given the amount of coverage on the Internet and verifiable from third-party sources per WP:V. Mh29255 (talk) 01:25, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Keep. Remove the lyrics, and turn it into an encyclopedia article about this folk song which appears to have a rich history dating back over 100 years.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 02:06, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

- Keep. Notability seems to have been established. The article can be expanded as time permits. 1ForTheMoney (talk) 16:02, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Keep as long as the article is expanded and lyrics are removed. More sources, reliable ones, also need to be found. Timmehcontribs 18:46, 6 January 2008 (UTC)
- Comment if there is no copyright on the lyrics - and it may have expired - they could be transwikid to wikisource.Garrie 03:51, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Keep - I don't see any need to remove the lyrics - plenty of precedent for keeping them (eg Waltzing Matilda has lyrics plus several variations probably too many variations but that is another debate) - interesting to compare with Spanish Ladies easily without going to another site .--Matilda talk 06:02, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
