- "How to build a boat" is valuable knowledge for thousands of us involved it the field. Traditionally, the process is not shared by the most knowledgeable practicioners, who compete with each other in business. Therefore, a whole bunch of us need a great encyclopedic resource like Wikipedia to get the knowledge quickly. The only other way to get boat building knowledge is to buy many books or spend many years in the industry. Please keep the article, and let it be improved and expanded.
