[edit] Billy Harper
Non-notable long-shot Republican candidate for governor of Kentucky in 2007. Never ran for office before and has said in news accounts he would never run again. He is the owner of a non-notable business. Fails the criteria for politicians at WP:BIO. Redfarmer (talk) 01:32, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Delete per nom; simply being a candidate isn't enough per WP:BIO. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 01:37, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Delete: I'm a candidate for head of the Aesir. Being a candidate is like being at the try outs for the contestants. If he succeeds, he'll be in. Utgard Loki (talk) 18:16, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Comment: For the record, he lost by a wide margin in a three-way race during the primary last year. Redfarmer (talk) 18:35, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Delete His mention at Kentucky gubernatorial election, 2007 is sufficient. By the way, he wasn't a Republican candidate for governor, he was a candidate in the Republican gubernatorial primary - I know it's splitting hairs, but if this afd fails, the article should be corrected. – jaksmata 20:44, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
