[edit] Beijing Ten Prominent Building
Original research, no Google hits. Hemlock Martinis (talk) 01:41, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Comment: I think the title should be something like Ten tallest buildings in Beijing, or something like that, if we can figure what the criteria are for listing here. It looks like it was created by a non-English speaker. Corvus cornixtalk 02:18, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Comment: Are they the tallest? If not, what criteria are used to determine which are the most prominent? Is there a
n officialpublished list?If there is an official list,is there any controversy? Or is the article listcruft? 69.140.152.55 (talk) 03:28, 15 May 2008 (UTC) - Delete. Without any kind of sourcing it looks like OR, and unless sources insist on a Top 10 grouping there's no reason to assume this number in an article. I think the intended topic is covered by Tourist attractions of Beijing. Ham Pastrami (talk) 07:44, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. It's possible this has been derived/copied from some sort of "official" list made by a govt or some other organization — and that the title has been translated in a literal sort of way from Chinese that doesn't quite work, but without sources we're at sea in trying to figure out where it came from. On the other hand, it could just be made up. Delete b/c we just don't know. Good Ol’factory (talk) 10:03, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

- Comment This would be great if it were sourced, although I suspect it's original research. What a "great leap forward" from the "Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution" to the "Beijing International Finance Building". You can almost hear Chairman Mao turning over in his grave. - Delete Unsourced. It's just a list with no content. — Wenli (reply here) 06:08, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- The current list is unsourced, barely comprehensible and probably original research. As such, it should probably be deleted, although I wouldn't object to redirecting it to List of tallest buildings in Beijing. AecisBrievenbus 14:14, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
