[edit] Barron Nicholas Hilton
Being arrested for a DUI doesn't make one suddenly notable. Hey may eventually become as notable as his sister, but isn't there yet. OhNoitsJamie Talk 22:02, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Delete - Relationships doesn't necessarily make one notable. ----Ðysepsion † Speak your mind 22:12, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Delete and redirect to Hilton family. He is personally unnotable, and at present the article is used only to mention his DUI. --Golbez (talk) 22:34, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
- Deelete. A DUI in and of itself does not make someone noteable.-FateSmiled&DestinyLaughed (talk) 22:58, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

- Keep, press coverage of DUI alone establishes notability. Everyking (talk) 05:53, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Comment It's not unusual for a bad DUI accident to get significant coverage outside the local area. That doesn't make the driver or the victims automatically notable. Descendants of Hiltons are not automatically notable as soon as they get arrested. OhNoitsJamie Talk 06:26, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- I believe that substantial press coverage devoted to an individual always makes that individual notable. Everyking (talk) 16:14, 14 February 2008 (UTC)
- Since I keep CNN on almost all day long, and I have not heard a single mention of Mr. Hilton's late legal troubles, I would challenge that the coverage is anywhere near substantial enough to qualify. --Golbez (talk) 17:03, 14 February 2008 (UTC)

- Delete - Fails almost all of the criteria at WP:BIO. Being arrested for a DUI doesn't suddenly change that, despite the media coverage. Altairisfartalk 06:24, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

- delete There appears to be little coverage about him and the DUI is a definite NOTNEWS issue. I'm not sure if when using the other sources that one can get with googling enough to make him notable. Trying to find sources is complicated by the fact that the family scion is Barron Hilton but right now, I'm not seeing notability. JoshuaZ (talk) 20:58, 14 February 2008 (UTC) Note changed my attitude to full delete after unable to find sources. Every source I have found simply mentions him as one of the kids and doesn't give any other info JoshuaZ (talk) 05:04, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- To be clear, you don't think his DUI should be mentioned anywhere on Wikipedia, regardless of whether this bio exists? Everyking (talk) 04:20, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- I don't see any compelling reason to describe it anywhere. He is a private citizen who has avoided the limelight. I fail to see how his DUI is substantially encyclopedic. And if we don't have an article on him, then mentioning him solely at say Hilton Family as the Hilton who isn't known well and got a DUI seems almost worse from an NPOV undue weight / BLP perspective. This appears to be a private citizen who happened to have a DUI and had the misfortune of having a family that is in the public eye with siblings who like to self-promote themselves. - Keep he is apart of the hilton family and receive considerable press coverage beyond just the DUI. 63.76.234.250 (talk) 14:47, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
- Comment' Can you provide any evidence of this press coverage beyond the DUI? OhNoitsJamie Talk 15:28, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
