[edit] Anstey (anatomy)
This is a case study in poor RC patrol. This page was originally about a village in Leicestershire, then got replaced with some nonsense (according to which Anstey would be the same as the perineum). The page was subsequently moved to Anstey (anatomy) to reflect the "new" content. Google proves that this is nonsense: anstey and perineum are never mentioned in proximity. Thankfully, Anstey, Leicestershire was created, but this vestigial organ should be deleted. JFW | T@lk 20:15, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- I have rescued relevant information about the Leicestershire town from the history and merged it with Anstey, Leicestershire. JFW | T@lk 22:37, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Sad. We need technical means to improve RC patrol. Rl 21:13, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Currently obvious hoax/prank. Not an appropriate article name anyway, so do not redirect. Good grief, it was that way since October 2004. And edited for formatting by an experienced Wikipedian who apparently didn't notice the content. Of course, I don't understand why it was entitled "Anstey (anatomy)" in the first place. Seems to me more like a newpages issue, not a recent changes issue. Dpbsmith (talk) 22:51, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Speedily, anyone? Fire Star 23:49, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Query. Though the title is obviously incorrect and can't be retained, some material from this article's history has been merged into the Anstey, Leicestershire article by JFW. How does deletion of this stuff now square with the GFDL's attribution requirements? --TenOfAllTrades | Talk 01:21, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- The useful edits are back in the history presumably - David Gerard 01:41, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- No, I manually moved the most recent "normal" version content to the Anstey, Leicestershire page. They are therefore not properly attributed. JFW | T@lk 10:20, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
