Color picture introduction On March 17, 1973 the TV invites for permanent employment the engineers of the color mobile station, TV production laboratory, video recording units. Preparations for color broadcasting have begun. The May 1 Parade of 1973 from Lenin Square had been broadcasted in color. Initially, the color programs were broadcasted only from the mobile station, from the large celebrations, concerts, sport events of the country. Starting from 1978 about 50 percent of the programs of the first and the second Armenian channels were in color. Starting from August 1973, the first video recordings were broadcasted, which made 70 percent of the programs in 1978. From 1971 to 1979 the airtime was rich with Armenian films and feature programs. "TV movie house presents" - the program presented literature and art materials, performances, movies; on January 25, 1971 a drama by Tamara Bityutskaya, "From evening to noon" in 3 acts was shown. During those years, about 40 performances were presented to the theatre fans: "The Charlatan" by Shirvanzade, "A Streetcar Named Desire" by T. Williams, "Per Gunt" by Ibsen, etc. And on December 25, 1971 the movie program department for the first time in USSR launched a new program named "Documentary film hour". Before February 1984 it has been broadcasted once a month, after - 3 times a month. Adamyan's name will be remembered forever In 1905 in the laboratory of Berlin Univerisity Professor Arthur Korn, a student of the same University Hovhannes Adamyan made his first invention, when he improved the device constructed by his teacher and gave a transmittable picture. In 1908 the Kaiser's License Office of Berlin issued a license to Adamyan "For creating a device for transmission of a picture or several pictures through electricity". For the first time in history of television development Adamyan substantiated the idea of transmitting a black-and-white picture to the scientific world. The license was followed by testing of the two-color TV in Berlin, the first experience ever in transmitting of the color picture. Adamyan has been acknowledged as the inventor of the color television. The scientist received French and Russian licenses for his invention in 1908. In 1921, during the all-Russian Electro technical Conference in Moscow, he presented the results of his studies for transmitting a picture on long distances. In a letter addressed to his sister, Adamyan wrote: "Although I am invited to Germany, I wish to make my first large scientific experiment in my Motherland". In 1925 Adamyan presented the first scheme of the color television sequential system at the Yerevan State University, the tri-color television, which was named "Herates" (the far-sighted). Adamyan's invention was applied three years later in London. In 1930-ies Adamyan was also acknowledged as the inventor of the prototype of the modern video player. In 1945-1951 US Columbia (CBS) Radio company tested Adamyan's invention and only in 1953 it was accepted, and later replaced by NTSC system.

The club was founded in 2007 by Darius Miksys with the aim of bringing cricket into Lithuanian schools. The club benefits from the support of the British Embassy in Lithuania and the British Chamber of Commerce Lithuania. Vilnius CC attracts members born largely from international expat communities living in Lithuania, although active in encouraging the expansion of its youth teams and coaching by reaching out to Lithuanians interested in learning a new sport. During 2008 Vilnius CC played host to a number of touring sides and is scheduled to play unrecognized ICC matches against the Belarusian, Estonian and Latvian teams. The club actively welcomes tour teams to the Lithuania capital Vilnius. An intra-Vilnius league is planned for 2009 and this will be the first of its kind in Lithuania. A format of day games (40 to 50 over’s per side) and Twenty/20 games to run concurrent. The club is seeking support from the Vilnius Municipality in the hunt for a suitable permanent venue. |

If you want to make changes and try again, copy and paste your article into a new submission and make your changes there. BadRAM adds support for broken memory chips to supporting operating systems. At present, only Linux is supported under BadRAM, but anything open enough could implement the same idea. [edit] DescriptionBadRAM integrates with the memory handling of operating systems, which is based on blocks of memory which are allocated (in random order) to a page table. The page table translates virtual memory addresses of a process to the physical memory pages. All that BadRAM does, is avoid that memory pages which are known to be faulty end up on the freelist: the list of pages that are free for use in page table mappings. By not freeing up such pages when the system starts, they never show up for use, and so the system will circumvent those erroneous spots in memory. It is vitally important that the broken memory is never made available to applications. This means that only the (predictable) booting pattern of the operating system accesses physical memory before pages are marked as bad. The only thing BadRAM cannot solve is when the booting operating system grabs hold of broken memory pages; this occurs in practice when the faults are located in low memory addresses. In practice, BadRAM has shown to enable a computer to run reliably in spite of the broken bits of memory. In addition, it has enabled owners of laptops with soldered-on broken memory chips to continue to use these laptops without problems. It has been shown to have no impact on system performance in the common situation where chips have very few bad spots, or just a series of bad spots in a regular pattern. [edit] MotivationBadRAM was created by Rick van Rein in the Netherlands, who refused to bring back a few seemingly faulty RAM-sticks just because there were a few errors in one or two locations. It seemed like a waste, especially because so many harsh chemicals are needed in the process of chip manufacture, and especially because there already is quite a drop-out rate in chip production. When memory manufacturers would embrace the idea of BadRAM, they could have outlets of cheap, potentially-broken memory chips. This would give them additional channels over which they can make profits, while at the same time enabling new projects such as One Laptop per Child. BadRAM was written in the hope to create such extra sales channels for broken memory chips. [edit] Error PatternsThe BadRAM patch centers around a dense description format for the errors that memory reveals in practice. Static discharges damaging memories often leave one or a few adjacent rows (or columns) dysfunctional. The error patterns of BadRAM have been designed to capture these patterns in pairs of address/mask, like
This describes errors on any address A for which
The number of bytes lost due to the patch can be found by counting the number N of zero-valued bits in the pattern and calculating 2^N. In practice, the last bits of the mask are additionally treated as thought they were zero-valued. so as to round off to memory pages. Intentions to embed BadRAM-marked pages in memory slabs have never been worked out in practice, as demand was low and complexity was high. [edit] LimitationsBadRAM was designed to process error patterns from offline scans. The common application for this is Memtest86, which can produce the error patterns needed for the patch. A common question is if it would be possible to scan memory while a system is up and running. This however, is a bad idea for a number of reasons. First, a thorough test takes a lot of time and would press upon the CPU. Second, such tests are really only needed when reason exists to believe the memory may have been damaged. Third, it would compromise the stability of the overall system, as processes would crash until the error was detected. BadRAM has not been programmed to exploit ECC memory checks. The simple reason is that no demand has ever been posted for this facility, nor is there testing material available on which to test it. BadRAM does not program the found error patterns into the I2C flash storage space provided on a DIMM. This is because not all memories necessarily support such flash space, because anything programmed in there would depend on motherboard configuration, and because it would require a non-standard addition to the format used in those memories. The big argument to counter this is that such memories give a great opportunity for storing the error patterns and taking them from one booting setup to another. A much better place however, would seem to be the Extended System Configuration Data memory present in most PCs. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 77.164.192.248 (talk) 11:20, 2 June 2008 (UTC) [edit] HistoryBadRAM was realised in 1998 and has since then seen a constant interest from visitors and users of the patch. It now has a long-standing series of patches, usually supplied by contributors who simply want to use the patch for their own systems. Rick van Rein, the original author, has been supporting the patch as well as time permitted. BadRAM was designed to be as simple as possible. It just contains what it needs, with no frills. A fork has been made by Nico Schmoigl, who created BadMEM which carries more features, such as an interface to the /proc filesystem on Linux. [edit] FutureIt is to be expected that memories will become more important in future computers. First, hard disks are expected to be replaced with Solid-state Drives, and in a second phase both hard disk and memories will merge into Non-volatile memory. When that happens, memory support will be more important than ever, and an approach like BadRAM's is likely to earn itself a popular place in standard software. The music video on youtube is available with Polish subtitles. Ivan Mladek on the left acts mostly serious, the guy on the right does funny dance. The Poles like Czech humor, especially the kind of humor where Czechs make fun of themselves. And they know the things the songs is about – Jozin eats especially Prague citizens, Skoda 100 is an old car still used in Eastern Europe. We have similar experience, we can laugh at the same things. Ivan Mladek himself is glad, because of sudden Polish media interest, but as he has never stopped playing, the thing that matters for him is whether there will be a tour in Poland. [edit] Early LifeKelso was born in Bronx, New York. She is of te Dominican Republican descent. She was Born to Nicholle Maria Montoya (at age 15) and Alijandro Servantes (at age 17). Born in New York, Kelso moved into Spanish Harlem where she associated with only her parents and her twin sister, Denesia Rachelle Montoya. At the age of eleven Kelso, along with her mother and sister, moved to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. There she lived with her mother, sister, grandmother Eliseia Montoya, and great grand-mother Dom'Marie Montoya. Along with her sister, Kelso attened Los'Parirro school for the youth, there, she grew a friendship with her fellow teachers and classmates. She was the true definiton of a social butterfly. At age 13 Kelso was introduced to Jordan Farmer (age 17) who she says at the moment of introduction was sweet and easy-going. But soon after he became a tragedy in her life. On September 3, 1988 Farmer forced himself on 13-year-old Kelso and sexually abused and raped her. After Farmer left the Dominican Republic days later, Kelso finally spoke up about her rape to her Grandmother who later notified U.S State authorities of what had happend. Farmer was arrested and sentenced to eight years in a Federal Prison in Denver, after pleading guilty to the rape of Kelso. But 13-year-old Kelso was not free of her trauma. Soon after Farmers arrest, Kelso found out she was pregnant with his child, which she later found out were twins. After weeks and weeks of tears Kelso decided the best thing she could do was to get and abortion, after many arguments with her sister and mother about the issue, Kelso finally just went to the San'Dasio Clinica were she would have the abortion. After three hours of waiting she was finally told that the abortion could not be done, due to the fact she was in her second trimester. With the information in her head, Montoya went to a witch doctor whom she believed would be able to abort her pregnancy. She was given a cursed tar liquid, and told to drink it, and her pregnancy would be gone in three days. When the drink failed, Kelso finally, tried to end her pregnancy herself, by free drowning in the Sando Rivera, where she was rescued by local passer byers. She was admitted to the Republican Behavioral Center where she was rleased to her mother weeks later. After every attempt, Kelso caried out a healthy pregnancy, and ON June 27, 1989 at age 14, Kelso gave birth to two healthy twins, a Boy whom she named Brandon'Daniel Elijah Montoya, and a girl whom she named Brianna'Danyale Jezzabel Montoya. With her two children Kelso decided it was time for a change and in the spring of 1994 moved back to New York, where she would strat her life from scratch. Kelso is a Graduate from Sandiago Highschool, she graduated with honors, and was also Valedictorian, and Class President. [edit] CareerWhile in New York, Kelso caught the eye of Million-Dollar Hotel Owner Orlando Kelso. He proposed to her after just a month, but later left to finish business in Japan. Although before his departure, he left his fiance with an 3 million dollar engagment ring, a paid college tuition to NYU, and a new car. Along with free stay at the Renaissance Hotel. At age 24 Kelso finally graduated from NYU in the summer of 1998 with a business degree, and started to build her life as a top female worker. She later moved to Los Angeles California with Orlando and her two children. There she got in good graces with Bleu Starr & Comp, and in 2000 was the Jr. Ceo of the business, and in 2003 Forbes Magazine announced her the youngest highest paid business women in Holloywood. She was also the 2006 Women of the year. [edit] Personal LifeOn December 1, 1998 she married Hotel Owner Orlando Kelso. He later adopted her two children Brandon and Brianna'Danyale, making them an equal part of his life. Brianna'Danyale gave bith two Kelso's grand-daughters on April 3, 2004. Their names were Aaliyah and Aliviyah. On February 6, 2006 Kelso's son Brandon and Grandaughter Aliviyah, were killed in an accident after picking up Brianna'Danyale from the LAX Airport. Brianna'Danyale was injured but made it through. In December of 2007 Kelso also lost her twin sister Denesia, who died after giving birth in the Dominican Republic. With the list of lost in her life between 2007-2008 there are no words. She lost her twin sister, her two neices, her brother-in-law, her great grandmother, her grandmother, her grandfather, her grand-daughter, her own daughter who was born premature, her stepson, her mother, her father, her younger sister who was Miss New York 2005 and her husband, who died of heart failure. With these lost, it seems to have only made her stronger. She still has her daughter Brianna'Danyale who is expecting next year, and Kelso herself is also expecting a baby next year from husband Orlando. Kelso currently lives in Beverly Hills California, with her adopted daughter 29 year-old Colleen Kelso, who recently gave birth to a daughter whom she name Serinity. Kelso has also launhed her perfume line entitled Always&Forever set to be released in the Fall of 2009. [edit] Sourceswww.actorspages.org/Cateyes101 70.119.55.55 (talk) 17:01, 2 June 2008 (UTC) |

We're packed to the brim with hockey too! We run 6 mens teams, 5 ladies teams (including a full vets side), a mixed side, ladies indoor teams, mens and ladies summer leagues, and we have a thriving Colts section which has been awarded the Club 1st National Hockey accreditation for junior coaching and development. And although hockey is incredibly important to us, socialising runs a close second! We have a packed social scene to keep you entertained throughout the year - keep an eye on the socials section for up-to-date details. If you'd like to play (on and off the pitch) with one of the friendliest clubs around, just get in touch! 91.109.133.89 (talk) 19:43, 2 June 2008 (UTC) |
