Richard Frank is a veteran American entertainment executive possibly best known for serving as President of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, chairman of Walt Disney Television and Telecommunications (1994 to 1995) and as president of The Walt Disney Studios (1985 to 1994). From 1977 to 1985, he served as both vice president and president of the Paramount Television Group of Paramount Pictures. At Disney, Frank was part of the leadership team alongside Michael Eisner and Jeffrey Katzenberg, but departed shortly after Katzenberg departed to form Dreamworks SKG; Frank's son Darryl is currently co-President of Dreamworks Television.

Frank was President of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for a six years, a board member of the MPAA for eight, and is currently a Vice Chairman and Executive Board Member of the American Film Institute.

In early 1994, Frank spearheaded the “Information Superhighway Summit,” a conference that drew many of the most influential executives in the media world — including then-FCC chairman Reed Hundt, as well as Barry Diller, Michael Eisner, Bill Gates, Robert Iger, Robert Johnson, Quincy Jones, Jeffrey Katzenberg, John Malone and Rupert Murdoch — to hear keynote speaker Vice President Al Gore discuss the expanding 500-television-channel universe and new technologies such as the internet.

In April 2003, Frank founded Integrated Entertainment Partners (IEP). In 2004, Rich was named Chairman of the Board, The Firm, when IEP was merged into the high-profile management company. With clients ranging from Cameron Diaz, Martin Scorsese, to Snoop Dogg and Korn, The Firm was launched in 1997 by Jeff Kwatinetz.

In 2007, the Television Academy awarded Frank the Syd Cassyd Founders Award. The Award is named in honor of the Television Academy’s founder, and was created to recognize members who have made a significant positive impact on the Academy. The Award has been bestowed only seven times in the history of the Academy.

Frank currently owns a vineyard in Napa Valley, Frank Family Vineyards and sits on the boards of eco-friendly goods firm TerraCycle and mobile marketing and advertising venture The Hyperfactory.

Blueboy were an indie-pop band from Reading, Berkshire. They were formed by Keith Girdler (vox) and Paul Stewart (guitars) who had previously played in Reading bands The Art Bunnies and Feverfew. They signed to Sarah Records in 1991 after sending a demo of what would become their first single, Clearer, recorded in a friend’s shed. They were joined by Gemma Townley (cello and vocals), Harvey Williams from Another Sunny Day (guitar), Paul (bass) and Lloyd (drums) and went on to record 6 singles and two albums on Sarah as well as touring Britain, France and Japan. The band were often dismissed by critics as ‘twee’, yet the band had diverse musical and lyrical influences such as The Smiths, él records, bossa nova, Orange Juice, and shoegazing. Their lyrics often explored gay themes, whilst Gemma’s vocals gave some of the songs a unisex appeal.

In 1994, Paul and Lloyd left the band and Martin Rose took over on drums whilst Gemma started playing bass. When Sarah Records disbanded, Blueboy released two singles and an album on Matt Haynes’s second record label Shinkansen. The final album, The Bank of England, had a new line up of Paul and Keith with Cath Close on vocals, Ian Gardner on drums and James Neville on bass. Keith and Paul went on to write for and play in other bands such as Beaumont, Arabesque and Lovejoy. Keith died in May 2007 from cancer.

Nizar Chaari started his career from the Southern city Sfax in Tunisia. His first experience was with the Regional Radio of Sfax “Zaitouna El Athir”. The American Open University (AOU) is an independent non-profit educational organization, based in the United States of America, founded and supervised by scholars specialized in Islamic and Educational Sciences.

AOU is an Islamic university offering undergraduate and graduate studies through distance learning, based on the amanah (trust) to spread Islamic knowledge based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (saw), in the framework of mainstream Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama’a.

We utilize contemporary methods of distance education to provide the next best thing to direct learning.

In order to have a solid foundation, the development of the university has been undertaken in small but secure steps, and to date hundreds of students from America and around the world have benefited from studying with us.

AOU was established in May 1995, and opened its doors to students in January of 1996 to a mere 147 students. Alhamdulillah the total enrollment for this current semester (Spring 2002), is 540 students. Understanding Distance Education

Distance education breaks down the boundaries of time and space, of season and country allows people to study from the comfort of their own homes. It uses all available means to deliver knowledge to the students, wherever they may be. This method of education has been greatly assisted by the recent developments in technology, particularly in the fields of information dissemination. Mediums like the Internet, and other new systems of communication, have turned the world into a global village, in which video and audio communication and dialogue have become possible, regardless of distance.

The textbooks for distance education are designed in a specific way, supported by audio and videotapes and CDs, in order to facilitate the students’ study at home, as well as to help them to pursue their studies with speed and ease.

Students are able to contact their instructors, who take the role of tutors to facilitate the studies, by fax, email and other communication methods. They are also encouraged to make direct contact with them by phone during set office hours, in order to have their questions answered and discuss their coursework, as well as for their final semester exams.

This young magician started his career as one section of the infamous duo Aces High, who later became the influence and idea behind Engano Productions. Together Engano and Ace ruffled many feathers in the magic world, even being barred from Soho Tricks, the UK’s most reputable magic venue. A feat no other magic act has yet to achieve! Influenced by his early work with his friend and colleague ACE (the greatest cardshark that has ever lived) Engano Prodcutions was born, where Magic, Mystery and Mayhem ensued. ZwebServer is a multi-thread HTTP web server for the Windows platform only. It was developed by Travis Cunningham and was made the official web server of Zotag Search located somewhere in Indiana.
