Lizzie Cameron, born 1981 in Edinburgh in Scotland, is a British video journalist. She became popular in 2007 through the programme BE THE CHANGE on CNN International. After graduating from Edinburgh College of Art as graphic designer, she worked and lived for three years working in London. After that, she returned to Edinburgh, where she's been working for an advertising agency. For social reasons, she decided in 2007 to take a whole year off and travel to the shores of Lake Victoria, in the far northern reaches of Tanzania, very near the Kenyan border. While in Musoma, she works with disabled children and teenagers. She teaches them woodworking, dress-making and leather work. It's called the Musoma Engineering Project. She started a written blog about her experiences and is sponsored by CNN for keeping a video diary. Excerpts from that video diary are broadcasted on a programme called BE THE CHANGE on CNN International. It promotes social responsibility. BE THE CHANGE follows the adventures and struggles of six young volunteers. This request for creation has been reviewed. The reviewer comments appear below the article text.
[edit] HistoryThe OMG set up a Business Rules Working Group in 2002 as the first standards body to recognize the importance of the "Business Rules Approach". It issued 2 main RFPs in 2003 - a standard for modeling production rules (PRR), and a standard for modeling business rules as business documentation (BSBR, now SBVR). PRR was mostly defined by and for vendors of Business Rule Engines (BREs) (sometimes termed Business Rules Engine(s), like in Wikipedia). Contributors have included all the major BRE vendors, members of RuleML, and leading UML vendors. [edit] Evolution
[edit] StatusPRR is currently "Adopted" as a standard and in "Finalization", meaning that it is in Beta, with a final version 1.0 expected in 2008. Finalization team members are ILOG Inc (chair), NoMagic Inc, TIBCO Software Inc, Business Semantics Ltd, Business Rule Solutions LLC, and Sandpiper Software Inc. [edit] BiographyA cabinet maker by trade, Meunier had joined the French anarchist movement during the early 1890s. According to Charles Malato, it was said of Meunier that he was "...the most remarkable type of revolutionary illuminist, an ascetic and a visionary, as passionate for the search for the ideal society as Saint-Just, and as merciless as seeking his way towards it." During the trial of the notorious anarchist known as Ravachol, Meunier set off a bomb at the Lobau Barracks, the site of the Communard massacres, on March 15, 1892. On April 25, the day before Ravachol was to be sentenced, the Cafe Very in which Ravachol was arrested was also bombed killing the owner and a customer as well as injuring numerous others. [2] [3] Seeking asylum in Great Britain, like other contemporaries such as Jean-Pierre François he lived as a political refugee in London for a time [4] before his eventual arrest by Scotland Yard detective William Melville at London Victoria Station on April 4, 1894. [5] Extradited to France in June, Meunier was tried the following month and sentenced to life imprisonment in a penal colony in Cayenne. He would remain there for 14 years until his death in 1907, following a failed escape attempt. He had been in correspondence with fellow French anarchist Jean Grave the previous year and, in one letter expressed no remorse for his crimes stating "I only did what I had to do. If I could start over again, I would do the same thing." [6] He was used as the main antagonist of detective Sherlock Holmes in René Réouven's 1985 novel L'Assassin du Boulevard. If you want to make changes and try again, copy and paste your article into a new submission and make your changes there. [edit] HistoryOriginally referring to the prized pet ape of Pavel Petrovich (Peter I of Russia), M'Lang-Lang was used as a term of endearment for energetic youth in Asia from the late 1700's to mid 1800's. [edit] Modern UsageIn the late 70's, M'Lang-Lang re-emerged in the west and midwest United States as a deregatory term concerning the children of the "hippie" generation or "drug culture." In the Fall of 2007 a Minneapolis suburbanite icon by the name of Michelle Langford was given the title M'Lang-Lang in respect to the fresh and unbridled energy she brought to the north metropolitan suburben sub-culture through her genre-defying fashion influence and computer-generated artwork.
