The 2009 Memorial Cup will be played in May 2009 in a 4-team round-robin format. Six teams have submitted a bid to the QMJHL to host the event¹. They are the Chicoutimi Saguenéens (host team in 1988 but did not play in the event)², the Halifax Mooseheads (host team in 2000)², the Lewiston MAINEiacs, the Rimouski Océanic, the Shawinigan Cataractes (host team in 1985)² and the St. John’s Fog Devils. The MAINEiacs have partnered with the American Hockey League's Portland Pirates in their bid and would host the event in Portland.³

QMJHL Commissioner Gilles Corteau is expected to form an independent selection committee to evaluate the bids. The final decision is expected to be announced in April 2008.

Mark Pettersson was born in London (England) in 1974 and spent much of his youth travelling with his parents. By 1980 his parents had settled down and Mark started school. In 1981 h first got his first insight in the sport of BMX and became fanatically involved and fell in love of the sport. In 1994 Mark was 20 years old and moved to scandinavia to start a bmx shop (www.childstore.se) which was the first real bmx store opened up in this part of the world. He simultaneously ran 3 companies at the same time (childstore, ope distribution and had started to dabble more in design)

By the year 2000 he had worked in great detail with companies like KHE which had produced his designs under there house brand name. In 2005 he started a small brand called yogurt bikes which was aimed at serving local kids with affordable bikes at good quality.

2007 His signature bars "swiss miss" were released by KHE. this was the first bar of its kind to introduce an integrated stem into an offset bar design.

Hal Brooks is an American director based in Brooklyn, NY. He directed Thom Pain (based on nothing) by Will Eno, which was a finalist for the 2005 Pulitzer Prize in Drama [2], starring James Urbaniak. The production ran eleven months at the DR2 Theater in New York City. The plasma pencil is basically a dielectric tube where two disk-shaped electrodes of about the same diameter as the tube are inserted and are separated by a small gap. Each of the two electrodes is made of a thin copper ring attached to the surface of a centrally perforated dielectric disk. The plasma is ignited when nanoseconds wide high voltage pulses at kHz repetition rate are applied between the two electrodes and a gas mixture (such as helium and oxygen) is flown through the holes of the electrodes. When a plasma is ignited in the gap between the electrodes, a plasma plume reaching lengths up to 5 cm is launched through the aperture of the outer electrode and into the surrounding room air. The cold plasma plume emitted by the plasma pencil can be used to kill bacteria without harming skin tissue. Applications of the plasma pencil are in wound healing, killing of oral bacteria, and in controlled surface modification of heat-sensitive materials. The plasma pencil was invented by Mounir Laroussi, a plasma science professor at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA, USA.

Josh Driver was born on September 3rd, 1985 in Memphis, Tennessee. Since a very young age, he has loved to entertain. Josh's first time to ever sing in public was when he was 5 years old. He sang karaoke in Destin, Florida. The crowd was amazed that such a big voice came from such a small child. Josh picked up singing from his mom because she used to always know every song that came on the radio and would sing with them. Throughout the following 9 years if there was karaoke where Josh went, he would sing it, but he had not yet found a passion for music. It wasn't until the 8th grade in the middle school talent show that Josh's life changed course. In the year leading up to this, Josh had just bought Garth Brookes live album and video tape. Even though Garth's popularity had faded, Josh was just starting to admire him. Josh saw the excitement and friction that Garth had with his fans and his music, he felt he should do the same. So in the 8th grade talent show, Josh decided to sing "The River" by Garth Brookes, he still laughs til this day about what his music teacher asked him "This is a big crowd are you sure you won't get nervous?", and Josh said "I think I can handle it" and that he did. The crowd was amazed by Josh's performance and went wild, he got a standing ovation and won first place. It was on that day that Josh decided this is what he wants to do with his life. Over the next few years Josh started writting songs and participating in talent shows and other fuctions with his music. Around 2005 is when Josh started trying to get record labels attention and its also when he realized how cut-throat the music industry really is. He is continuously writting songs and devoting every day of his life to get his music heard. Josh Driver has a true passion and love for music you just don't get that anymore in todays industry. His talent is extraordinary and we all look forward to a lot of great things to come.

Break a Leg is an internet sitcom that has been running for several months. It was featured this weekend in the WALL STREET JOURNAL. I think there was an article on Wikipedia but it was deleted for not meeting notability requirements. I don't know if they deleted it without looking for third party sources, maybe there weren't any then. I think the WALL STREET JOURNAL WEEKEND EDITION is a third party source right? I dont know how to write an encyclopedic entry, but I want to request that the show be given an article. There is no reason for it to not have an article on wikipedia, there are plenty of third party sources unreleated to the creators of the show.

They formed in the summer of 2006 and have attracted the attention of several major record labels. They have remained unsigned and strongly follow the DIY ethos that is so popular amongst the 'nu-rave' genre, although they don't fall into that category themselves. The Alfonz have been compared to Supergrass, The Jam and The Monkees, but are also influenced by more contemporary artists such as The Kooks and The Libertines. [edit] Band Members The Alfonz consists of Adam Wiltshire (vocals and bass) , Sam Lee (guitar and vocals) and Charlie Rowe (drums and vocals). All of the members live within a mile of each other and attend the same college in Swindon. Jonathan Rothschild was born on June 21, 1993. He was pushed into a family of 7 and he was the youngest. His parents died when he was at a tender age of 9, and although he was the youngest, his brothers and sisters all looked to him for strength. Jonathan and his siblings went to a local orphanage, St. Katalina's. There they all waited for one family to adopt them all, but no one would have them. At last a family came and wanted to adopt Jonathan, only Jonathan. He left the orphanage and his siblings behind saying. "I will return for you..."

Jonathan began to expirament in the realm of dreams and soon devised a way to communicate through dreams. This "telepathy" if you will, is what enabled him to "control" the minds of his parents and made them adopt the rest of his family. Reunited, they he taught them to use his power and combined they took over the world. Hehehe...

Wisconsin Lutheran High School (WLHS) is a secondary school located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is owned and operated by 57 Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) congregations in the metro Milwaukee area. The school traces its roots to the Lutheran High School, which was formed in 1903.

The school is accredited by WELS School Accreditation, the Wisconsin Religious & Independent Schools Accreditation, and the National Council of Private School Accreditation. 69% of its students attend 2 or 4 year colleges, and an additional 23% of its students attend technical colleges. Animalia is a television series based on the book by Graeme Base, Animalia (book). It started being made in 2000 and Base was helped by Ewan Burnett. It has abandoned the original alphabet concept. The main characters are Alex and Zoe (A-Z). Their two companions are G'Bubu the gorilla (based on the G page), and Iggy the Iguana.

Rochester School District #401 is the school district of the CDP (Census-designated place), Rochester, Washington. The auperintendant is Jim Anderson. There are about 2100 students in this district. The district consists of six schools, Rochester Primary School, Grand Mound Elementary School, Rochester Middle School, Rochester Alternative Middle School, Rochester High School, and H.E.A.R.T. (Holistic Educational Alternatives for Rochester Teens) High School. It also contains Maple Lane High School, a juvenile correctional facility for grades 9-12.

This School is for grades K-2. It was originally on Highway 12, but it was moved to a new building at 7440 James Road SW Rochester, WA 98579, adjacent to the elementary school. The original building is now a community center. The current principal of this school is Mrs. Dixon. There are about 525 students. There are 29 teachers at the primary school.
