Ian Clarke (born February 4th, 1964 in Broadstairs, Kent, UK) has been reviewed as a leading player and composers in the flute world. His compositions are establishing themselves as some of the most exciting and innovative flute repertoire of today and are being embraced by internationally acclaimed performers, teachers, colleges & students alike, having been performed across five continents on stages ranging from the South Bank to Glastonbury.

A prize-winning student, Ian studied with Simon Hunt, Averil Williams and Kate Lukas of the Guildhall School of Music, London. He concurrently studied Mathematics at Imperial College, London graduating with Honours. Ian is professor of flute at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

Ian has performed as a guest soloist for the British Flute Society including the 1999 & 2006 International Flute Conventions, Manchester, and as one of their ‘renowned artists’ at their 20th Century flute day in 2001. He made his debut internationally as a guest soloist in Dallas at the NFA’s 2001 International Flute Convention . Ian was the guest artist at the 2003 Hungarian National Flute Event and a headline artist in the 2005 NFA convention in San Diego. Further USA tours were made in 2006 and 2007 with forthcoming trips planned to Iceland, USA and Canada.

He has given masterclasses at the Royal Academy of Music, Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Royal Scottish Academy, Royal Northern and Trinity College of Music and has regularly been invited to perform & lead workshops for 'Flutewise' and numerous other flute events in the UK and abroad.

Ian has been a regular visitor to many of the UK’s leading Summer Schools and, along with Clare Southworth, led the 2007 Woldingham Summer School; additionally he joined Wissam Boustany for the 2007 Scottish International Summer School. 2005 saw the release of his long awaited CD ‘Within…’, now critically acclaimed and one of the flute world’s best sellers.

Ian works extensively with musician and composer Simon Painter writing, producing and performing music for film & television under the name of Diva Music with numerous recordings between them and applications from Microsoft to Oprah Winfrey!

Witold "Vitek" Kieltyka was the drummer for Polish Technical Death Metal band, Decapitated. On October 29th 2007, whilst travelling to a show in Gomel, Belarus, the band was involved in an automobile accident. Their tour bus collided with a truck carrying wood, injuring Vitek and Covan. While it was initially believed that they were taken to Moscow to be treated after treatment at a local hospital, it was later confirmed that they were only taken to be treated in Novozybkov, where they have remained for the time being. Covan has since shown signs of improvement but, unfortunately, Vitek has shown no progress. The bus was said to be 'beyond repair' following the crash, an indication of the impact of the collision. On 2 November 2007, the band's drummer Witold "Vitek" Kiełtyka died in hospital from head injuries sustained in the accident[1]. He was 23 years old.

VIVA Transcription was founded in 2003 and provides medical transcription services to hospitals and clinics across the United States and Canada. VIVA also provides an electronic health records system for the doctors to archive and access all of their records on a secure online website.

Medical doctors write up summaries of the visits they have with their patients. VIVA provides a toll free number for the doctors to call and leave a dictation. VIVA types up those dictations; this process is called medical transcription.

VIVA stands for Voice Integrated Virtual Assistant. VIVA basically translates recorded voice files into soft-copy electronic files for reference and storage. VIVA does have clients outside of the medical field. VIVA also provides transcription services for conferences and forums. All clients use the VIVA system by calling into the dial-in service, leave a dictation and then their file is archived securely online, in a typed, customized format. Doctors can also dictate by means of a digital recorder and the files can be uploaded securely online.

Michael Schmatz(b. 1950 - ) is a 40 year old high school student at the University of Trinity Pawling in New York. He lives across the street from this school, yet he still manages to practice his driving skills. This historical figure can sometimes be described as a tall, dumb oaf of a person, and attends all Curricular Development classes available to students. On certain occasions, he has been noted to finger his butthole, and scream "Eww", even at the all-boys school where it is not proper. Also, outside sources have claimed to listen in on Michael and his ape-looking friend Eric Picard releasing bodily waste together in a bathroom stall. Because he is 57 years old, he plays Varsity Hockey, Lacrosse, and Junior Varsity Football at Trinity Pawling, managing to bench-warm all games. He has set a school record for height and age as a Sophomore, and will become an important figure in the school's 100 year history. As he picks on smaller students, who are about 20 years younger than him, his father, Jay Kellogg, still gets him out of trouble and punishment, which for him is erasing all of his porn on his computer at home. Every Friday, he makes Zachary Silva retrieve one copy of the school newspaper, The Phoenix, and ironically calls him terms of unendearment. Many years of frustration in his childhood have made him the uncaring monster that he appears to be, yet on the inside, he still is an unerudite beast.

The Sleep of Reason is an interesting new research project into worldly phenomenon that can no longer be explained by science alone. Steve Bell [2] is an independent writer, reporter and scientist that has been developing the thread of research into a murder case. The murder of Claire D'Ebano, a prominent US psychiatrist, killed in Rome in November 2006. She appears to have been killed by one of her patients, yet the trial has never been concluded to determine the actual murderer. During the investigation into the case, which was to be broadcast as iPOD [3] broadcasts, Mr Bell discovered an intricate web of interlinking facts that drew him to the conclusions that a parallel, less visible world, may be existing. Events that cannot be explained by science alone. He is a skeptic, but continues these investigations. The first series of 8 documentaries was aired at the Ravenna Nightmare Film Festival in October 2007 to the shock of a stunned audience - they could not believe what had been documented. The following night all 8 episodes were aired on Studio universal in Italy.

Bell's research continues, and he is looking for help from the public to piece together the evidence of what is happening around us.
