Juana Watson is an immigrant from Calnali in the Sierra Madre Mountian region of Hidalgo, Mexico. She was born to Huastecan (of indiginous Aztec origen) parents in what is most commonly referred to as "an Indian village." Despite her impoverished upbringing, at 16 she made it out of Calnali to Mexico City, where she met a European traveller who told her about Paris and London. She saved up and went to Paris, where she became an au pair for a wealthy French family. She then moved to Siena, Italy, and worked a few odd jobs, and then finally ended up on London. When she finally returned to Mexico, she had mastered French, Italian and English, and was promplty hired at the Benito Juarez Airport. She soon met a succesful business man by the name of Dirk Chickedantz who proposed and brought her to Indiana. Together they had three children, but after ten years, the divorced. Juana decided to go back to school to earn a BA. Juana always dreamed of returning to Calnali to help the people, especially after enjoying the comforts of the United States. So she founded an organization called Friends of Calnali (later to be renamed Friends of Hidalgo). This organization began as a medical mission to the doctorless mountain region of Calnali, but it later evolved into an organization where students, churches, dentists and doctors can spend time doing good in a place forgotten by the rest of society. Today, the organization is called Friends of Hidalgo, and many groups under this unbrella return year after year to build homes, schools, medical clinics, security infrastructure, Fair-Trade agriculture, etc. Friends of Hidalgo continues to thrive and grow today. In Indiana, Juana saw the growing problems accompanying Mexican immigrants, so she founded an organization called Su Casa, Columbus, a place where people could come for drivers licenses, ID cards, and general cultural information. Su Casa, Columbus led to the arrival of a Mexican Consulate in Indianapolis, and with that she was hired as Senior Advisor of Latino Affairs to Mitch Daniels, the governor of Indiana. Juana finished her Masters and is now in the process of earning a PhD. She is writing her lifestory that will be published in the next few years.

Monique Martin (born Dominique Katya Martin on February 6, 1995)is an up-coming American actress from California. The name Dominique is Latin and means "of the Lord". She is currently living in Oakdale, California.

She was born in Findley, Ohio to Primilla Martin, a stay at home mother, and Charles Martin, who is the plant manager of one of the plants of the largest can company in the world. She grew up in California and is now residing in a small town called Oakdale. She has one older brother, Joseph Martin (23), who is in the United States Navy and is located in San Diego, California. John Fitzgerald Page was recognized as the worst person in the world by Gawker.com after an e-mail exchange between Page and a woman on match.com was released. Page is allegedly employed in corporate finance. He claims to have attended the University of Pennsylvania both during undergrad and for his MBA. Page also claims to be a male model and actor. Randy Thomas is an American Christian Musician best known for being a member of the Sweet Comfort Band and Allies. In 1984 He formed "Allies" with his pal Sam Scott and teamed up with Bob Carlisle. Between 1995 and 1996 Randy performed with international Country music artist Shania Twain.

He shared the 1997 Grammy Award for Best Country Song with Bob Carlisle for writing the song Butterfly Kisses.

Randy Thomas and Bob Carlisle also wrote the 1989 Dolly Parton #1 hit song "Why'd You Come In Here Lookin' Like That?"

Menuet sur le nom de Haydn is a short piece for solo piano by Maurice Ravel. The piece was commissioned and written in 1909 to commemorate the centenary of the death of Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) and takes the form of a minuet, a style which originated with Haydn. The five-note melody - B, A, D, D, G - represents the five letters of Haydn's name. As is common in signature motifs (see BACH motif), the pitch of B-natural stands in for the letter H.

Apley Castle was a building located in the Apley Castle Park NEAR Wellington in the Shropshire. The second mansion was demolished in the 1950's however the second castle which was converted to stable blocks on the completion of the Third Castle still remains and is converted into small homes.

Gordon J Lovie hails from Aberdeenshire in the N.E of Scotland. He is a formidable songwriter of predominantly "Contemporary Christian" songs. He is an adherant member of the Salvation Army. Gordon was born on Novemer 3rd 1964 in Oban, Scotland, has strong family connections with Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, although brought up in Fraserburgh and Aberdeen. He attended and is a former pupil of Aberdeen Grammar School. His most notable compositions stem from the Album "Witness" which is his life in testimoy, and include "Tear Down These Walls", "Please Redeem my Soul", "The Son of Man" etc. His first Christmas single release was "He is Born (A Shepherd's Witness)" which was released in 1997.

At a very early age she showed great gymnastic aptitude and was considered talented enough to be selected to join the Bulgarian National Trampoline Team, in which she was extremely successful.

Much to the distain of her parents and the team Biliana wanted to follow her dreams and ran away to join the circus. This decision was a very brave step as her parents frowned upon the circus and the state had invested a lot in her training.

Appearing with the Bulgarian State Circus, and others she is much travelled, touring in Russia, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Greece, Italy, France, Cuba. as well as the UK. Biliana has become multi-lingual

It was while working in the circus that she met Kiril.

Kiril was born into circus, his father was an artiste who had starred in the famous Ringling's Circus in the U.S.A. and was a circus owner himself. Having been brought up with the circus, but, with the benefit of a conventional education, Kiril excelled academically, and he had considered a career in economics. His university education was followed by a compulsory period of national service in the Bulgarian Army. He then worked as an accountant.

This romantic couple found it difficult being apart as she was always travelling and he in a desk job. So it was decided that Kiril returned to the circus, which he did gladly. Together they formed the spectacular, talented and successful "Duo Jordanov" a name that is renowned throughout the circus world.

Now they have created their own touring show, the Big Kid Circus. The family tradition now spans fifty years on the road, and includes three generations!

Their aim is to bring you new and exciting acts never before seen in the U.K. to enthrall the whole family, young and old alike.

Which includes most home runs in one season(72), and most all time home runs with 498. He also holds Avg.(.432) , RBI'S(1243) , Runs (987) and Stolen Bases with 456. Baseball was not the only sport which Gary Mastered , he also holds many records in the RHBHL(Red Head Ball Hockey League). Which include most goals in a season with 81 , and penalty minutes with 205. Gary would have had many more records if his career wasn't cut short by a leg injury. Gary is most noted to be the only professional baseball and ball hockey player to hits over 70 homers and over 70 goals in one calendar year.

Jim Mason is an author specialized in human/animal concerns. His most well known book is Animal Factories (co-authored with Peter Singer, 1980), but his main work is the book "An Unnatural Order: Why We Are Destroying the Planet and Each Other". In Unnatural Order he discusses human-animal relationships starting from the significance of animals to humans, how that significance was reduced by big-game hunting and domestication, how human-animal relationships are represented in the religions and philosphies of western civilization and how animal exploitation is linked to sexism, militarism, racism and colonialism.

Jim Mason has also co-authored (with Peter Singer) the book "The Way We Eat: Why Our Food Choices Matter", and appears on the documentary "Peacable Kingdom". He has written several articles, some of which have appeared in article collection books.

The Vietnamese three-striped box turtle (Cuora cyclornata) is a species of the southeast Asian Genus Cuora (family Geoemydidae). It is distributed from the extreme southern part of the chinese Guangxi Province southwards to central Vietam and central Lao People's Democratic Republic. This species reaches up to 30cm straight carapace lenght and is thus the largest Cuora species. Due to demand of Chinese TCM this species is nearly extinct in the wild but is readily bred in chinese turtle farms (Zhou et al. 2007). Extremly high prices are paid for this species in China.

Mccords Box turtle (Cuora mccordi) is a species of the southeast asian Genus Cuora (family Geoemydidae).

Described by Ernst (1988) from the chinese pet trade, this turtle lacked distribution data for 19 years until Zhou et al. were able to report it from the wild. This species is highly endemic to chinese Gunagxi Province. This is one of the most endangered chinese endemic turtle species, highly sought after by the chinese TCM and turtle hobbyists. Once thought to reach only 14cm Carapace length, specimens of up to 18 cm are known now.

A.S.P. Towers (also refered to as Kooy-e Nobonyad-e Vanak) are one of the most prominent skyscrapers in Tehran, the capital of Iran. A.S.P. Towers were among of the first residential skyscrapers in Iran and have housed some of the most well-known Iranian figures over the years.

Location

A.S.P. Towers are situalted in corner of Kordestan and Hakim Highways. The recently completed Tehran International Tower(or Borj-e beinolmelal-e Tehran)lies to the south. The panoramic view includes Alborz Mountains to the north, Damavand peak to the east, and newly constructed Milad tower to the west.

Construction

The construction was carried out by A.S.P. construction company. The construction is believed to have started in mid 1960s. As these buildings were one of the first skyscrapers in Iran, they were frequently visited by civil and construction engineering students in field trips and excursions. The building were finally completed in 1976 and inaugurated by Her Imperial Majesty Empress Farah Diba.

The towers are named A, B and C. The A-Tower is the most spacious and luxurious.

A.S.P's most famous resident

A.S.P. Complex has housed some famous Iranian figures none more so than Amir-Abbas Hoveida, the prime minister of Iran. He resided in one of the north facing penthouses in the A-tower. Following the Islamic Revolution and his execution his residence and belongings were looted by the revolutionaries.

The revolution and lootings

The A-tower was particularly targeted by the revolutionaries as it housed mostly business and political figures who either fled Iran or lost their lives during the revolution. In all cases doors were crushed as the standard door locks were impossible to break or manipulate. The non-standard door frames to date indicate breaking in by the revolutionaries during the early day of the revolution.

The looting of property and cars went on for weeks following the chaos and lawlessness in early days of the Islamic revolution. The confiscated units themselves were later occupied by revolutionary families and later by some refugees from the Iran-Iraq war. The occupiers were eventually removed as law and order eventually returned after a number of years.

Trivia

- A.S.P. Tower are in fact 24 storeys high not 22 as suggested by the lifts. The 23rd and 24th levels include duplex penthouses not serviced by the lifts.

- Before the Islamic revolution sales of any units were subject to investigation and approval by Savak.

- The recently completed Tehran International Tower just behind A.S.P. complex has the title of Tallest residential building in Iran.

It's no surprise to most Americans that healthcare costs in the United States are going through the roof. Michael Moore's recent controversial documentary Sicko details the difficulty that many there experience in paying for it. Increasingly, however, many Americans are traveling to Mexico, in a trend known as medical tourism, where they can find the same medical and dental care for considerably less cost. And more and more American insurers are providing coverage for travelers as the out of pocket costs to them are much lower. "With healthcare costs in the United States continuing to rise, many employers in Southern California are turning to insurance plans that send their workers to Mexico for routine care, plans that are growing by nearly 3,000 people a year" [2].

The Washington Post article Discount Dentistry, South of The Border says "Mexican dentists often charge one-fifth to one-fourth of U.S. prices". This trend, however, has alarmed American healthcare providers who, fearing a loss of business, warn patients away from Mexico. "The phenomenon has unsettled U.S.-based dentists who tell horror stories of rampant infections, undetected cases of oral cancer and shoddy work south of the border -- claims hotly disputed by Mexican dentists." "In Texas, legislators explored the possibility of allowing health maintenance organizations to operate on both sides of the border. However, physicians in south Texas lobbied against the changes, arguing that local doctors could not compete with the lower costs in Mexico" [3]. Indeed one does need to exercise caution as "the Mexican legal system makes it almost impossible to sue them" [4]. However many who take the chance report that they are satisfied with the care received, "They have everything I need," says Luis Gonzales of San Diego, "They're clean. You don't see a difference between a doctor over here and over there". "David Castillejos Rios has performed laser eye surgery on both sides of the border. At a small hospital in Tijuana, he charges one-third as much as he does in San Diego. 'The medicine is the same, and to me, whether I do it here or there, it's the same,' Castillejos Rios said. 'Only the price changes" [5]. Accordong to a report commissioned by Families U.S.A., a Washington advocacy group for health-care issues, "About 90 percent [feel] the care they had received in Mexico had been good or excellent. About 80 percent rated the care they had received in the United States as good or excellent" [6]. The article continues "The hemorrhage at the Mexican border is a symptom of the fundamental sickness in the American health-care system. What greater embarrassment could we have than the spectacle of tens of thousands of Americans leaving our country to get affordable health care?"

Indeed "some U.S. dentists ... have conceded to the competition and begun a 'reverse migration' opening offices in Mexico to take advantage of lower costs" [7].

A student of Josef Gingold, he is concertmaster of the Aspen Festival Orchestra and has served as guest concertmaster of the Houston, St. Louis, Oregon, San Diego, National Arts Centre of Canada, Japan Virtuosi, and Bergen Philharmonic orchestras. Howard Coles was born in Cardiff and studied sculpture at Cardiff college of Art. While teaching in Singapore he allied his painting with printmaking and photography to create the syntheses and economy of the more literal underpinnings of paintings which we see in his work today. The landscape of North Wales has been his chief source of imagery and inspiration for over twenty five years. Ideas which are principally about the transience of light on a landscape run throughout the works seen here. The immediacy of many of his paintings stem from the play of light and how and what it reveals, while the manner in which essentials are pared away to reveal other half-seen layers owes much to the directness of the idiom of the sculptor and printmaker.

Final Written Warning are a four piece Rock band from around the Heaton and Horwich areas of Bolton,UK. They formed in October 2005 and came up with the concepts behind the band before anything was finalized. The band started out with current front man Thomas Lim and drummer James Redgate. James happened to be in a band previously "Healthy Infection" which included Gareth Fitzpatrick,The Velvet Tones rhythm Guitarist Joseph Cowie and current bassist Seth Yates. All that was left to complete the setup was Thomas Lim meeting Gareth Beaumont through his sister. He had no idea that he played guitar until the two got in conversation on the internet and both shared the same music preferences and decided to join the band that Thomas had started.

The band have been known to perform an excess of Red Hot Chili Peppers covers, this shows strongly in their live performances with the "slap" technique Bass Guitar melodies and energetic presence on stage. Behind the driven guitar hooks is the strong pulse of pop/punk bands like Yellowcard and Lostprophets. As keen musicians the band incorporate a vast amount of genres to give each piece of music layers and offer new dimensions to break free of the generic stereotypes given to most amateur unsigned acts.

Project Green Glow is a top secret project by British defense contractor BAE Systems in co-operation with other high profile organisations such as NASA in an attempt to produce anti-gravity and other gravitational effects.

Very little is publicised about the project, however it is believed that the majority of the data is the work of a Russian scientist named Podkletnov. The technology uses superconducting spinning rings and exploits electromagnetic forces. It is claimed that the effect produced is very weak (about 2% of the weight of an object was apparently reduced) however, several companies are interested in the technology including Boeing, NASA and BAE Systems.
