The Unforgivable videos is a youtube.com series, created by Hodge-Stansson Productions. It has become a so called, "internet fad", with each video having views in the millions. The videos are based around a central character of African-American decent. The man appears to be in the woods, and in an angry tone, recites a story of recent events in his life. Hodge-Stansson Productions have even gone on to sell merchandise because the of the incredible success of the video series.

Michael Lawrence Dini (born 1954, Oakland, California) is a professor of biology at Texas Tech University. He received his PhD from University of Notre Dame and completed his B.S. in Biology from Saint Mary's College of California.

In 2003 Dini became the focus of criticism when he refused to write letters of recommendation for students who failed to either make an "A" in the course, or write a scientific response to the Theory of Evolution.[1] He had a lawsuit brought against him (by a student who never asked for his recommendation) and later agreed to change the wording in his letter of recommendation criteria. However, his third criterion for obtaining a letter of recommendation still states, "If you set up an appointment to discuss the writing of a letter of recommendation, I will ask you: 'How do you account for the scientific origin of the human species?' If you will not give a scientific answer to this question, then you should not seek my recommendation." According to Answers in Genesis, this criterion heavily references evolution.[2] Dr. Dini explains his practice thus: "Scientists do not base their acceptance or rejection of theories on religion, and someone who does should not be able to become a scientist."[3]

Seneca Loop, Statan Island is a small community of townhouses off Willowbrook Road.It is feet away from the Colledge of Staten Island, which happens to be built on the former grounds of the Willowbrook State School. It Consists of there sections, all of which are made up of connected residential facilities. Seneca Loop is located in Willowbrook, Staten Island, an area considered "Mid Island." There are around 50 houses in the area. Seneca Loop is a six minute drive from Todt Hill, Staten Island. Todt Hill is one of the wealthier neighborhoods on the island. sella is a village up in the mountains of patra, it consists of about 150 houses. it has a full size soccer field but it is not grass, it is sand field.there is also a basketball court situated in the village. in the center of the vilage there is a church with a small square. the air up in the mountains is fresh, the water clean and there isnt a lot of noise. it is nine kilometers away from agios basileios. there is only one house in the whole village that has a biliards table. the owner of the table is called tony karalis. there is a cafe where you can go for cofee, a snack, to watch soccer, and to play fussball.

The 'Vipassana Meditation Organisation',(pronounced as Vi-pashya-naa, is an organisation set up and funded by S. N. Goenka in 1969 which claims to teach a form of Buddhist 'meditation' in 10-day retreats held throughout the world [1].

The 'Vipassana Meditation Organisation' was set up in in India in 1969, where Buddhism and Hindu mysticism attracted many young people from advanced Industrial nations, especially that of the US, confused with their identity in an increasingly competitive society, to 'find themselves' and experience some form of wisdom (Pountain and Robins 2000). The organisation could then afford to expand itself in the early 1970s into the lucrative Western world, reaching increased concentrations where rural land was cheap, especially Australia (Stark and Bainbridge 1985).

Vipassana is a Pali word meaning special (pi) observation (passana) (Singh 2007).

As taught by Mr Goenka via audio and videotape with an 'assistant teacher' attending the course, the meditation technique is taught in special centers or rented and modified facilities (Singh 2007). The retreat involves observation of the breath and bodily sensations over a ten day period (Singh 2007)

Mr Goenka was born in Burma and learned this technique from his teacher, Sayagyi U Ba Khin, whom he came across while seeking a cure for his troublesome migraine (Singh 2007).

Mr Goenka spent fourteen years with Mr U Ba Khin and became a Vipassana teacher himself. It was U Ba Khin's wish to go to India to teach and propagate Vipassana in its country of origin but he could not fulfill his dream. Mr Goenka, was however, able to go to India and started teaching Vipassana. After many years, as the technique became popular, centers were established in various parts of India and abroad. The headquarters of the Vipassana movement is Igatpuri, province near Bombay (Singh 2007).

The centers run retreats from 12 days to more than two months (Singh 2007)

In order to be initiated, beginners have to attend ten days of seventeen hours of meditation per day in a meditation hall within a few meters of other attendees in absolute silence. Tapes are played where S. N. Goenka chants mystical passages in Pali and Hindi at the end, sometimes during, and at the end of meditation periods. All reading, writing and mobile phones are banned, participants are separated by gender teh entirety of the retreat and little if any of the opposite sex. Despite claims to the contrary, very few beginners are allowed the privacy of their own rooms during the periods for meditation.

Once an 'old student', ie. you have finished one ten-day course, you may serve food and conduct utilities on other course, and attended shorter one-day and three-day courses, however, initiates are expected to attend one ten-day course of the same format every year, and attend group meditation every week, and meditate for two hours every single day. Old students are not allowed meals in the evening and have to drink lemon water.

The daily timetable is as follows:

0630 - 0800 Bath and Breakfast
0800 - 0900 Group meditation (GM) in MH
0900 - 1100 Meditation in MH or at RQ

1300 - 1430 Meditation in MH or at RQ
1430 - 1530 GM in MH
1530 - 1700 Meditation in MH or at RQ
1700 - 1800 Tea break
1800 - 1900 GM in MH
1900 - 2030 Discourse
2030 - 2100 Meditation in MH
2100 - 2130 Meet with the teacher
2200 Lights out

The weekly timetable is as follows:

8pm Day Zero: Retreat starts
8pm Day Zero - 3pm Day Four: Anapana meditation (choiceless observation of the breath)
3pm Day 4 - 9am Day 10: Vipassana meditation (equanimous observation of bodily sensations)
9am Day 10 - 10am Day 10: Metta meditation (sharing one's merit and goodwill), silence ends
4.30am Day 11 - 6.30am Day 11: Final discourse and Metta, Retreat ends

This effectively means participants have only five and a half hours sleep for ten days in a row, the equivalence of having a chronic blood-alcohol content of 0.5 [2]. Some researchers have claim this chronic Sleep deprivation, painful initiation process, banning of communication and constant chanting is common to many other organisations which function as Cults (Aron 1999, Abgrall 2000).

Participants will have to learn to sit still in a hall of other people in silence for seventeen hours a day without talking, this exerts extreme pain on the legs, and many have to sit in chairs by the end of the ten days (Singh 2007).

The 'Vipassana Meditation Organisation' does not register itself as an entity, except through the character who funds and runs the organisation S. N. Goenka. This has led to accusations that this works to keep it unaccountable for any activities it may engage in. There is currently no 'Vipassana Meditation Organisation' website on wikipedia and it is no longer appropriate to keep Mr Goenka's site the only available source of information regarding it's activities. On Sunday 20th of February 2005, a documentary was released by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation Compass which documented three beginners practicing the 'Vipassana Technique' under Mr. Goenka. Serious allegations were made by a clinical psychologist that these Vipassana courses have resulted in mental illness and increase in general distress in a significant number of attendees who have been forced to seek out clinical intervention [3].

She runs a non-profit organisation called Prem Shanti Sahitya Sanskriti Sansthan to promote releases of infant Hindi writers. She is convener of the Akhil Bhartvarshiya Digamber Jain Parishad since 2002.

She is a regular host of shows in All India Radio and Doordarshan TV.

Terri Anne Jones (born September 20, 1989) is an Australian young carer based in Victoria. She has concentrated on caring for her father and sister, although she has stated that she wishes to pursue a career in film in California.

Early Life Terri Jones was born in New Castle, Australia, to father Keith Jones, and mother Kerrie Jones (maiden name Spong). Both her parents were in the Australian Defence Force (Air Force, Keith started in the Control Towers, but moved to Air Defence, while Kerrie was a nurse). Terri has a younger sister Simone, who is 2 years younger. Terri's family moved to Penshurst, Victoria, where Keith's children from a previous marriage also lived with them, his son Allan, lived with them permanently, while his daughter Natasha was more rebelious and varied between parents. Terri attended Penshurst Kindergarten and Primary School. Problems with her family occured when her father fell ill. Details have not been released on what was wrong with her father. Due to problems at Penshurst Primary, Terri, was transferred to Hawkesdale p-12 College, in grade 2. Her mother also got a job at this school. While attending Hawkesdale College, Terri and her family moved to Coleraine, (which is now their permanent residence) and after completing grade 2, Terri and her sister were transferred to Coleraine Primary School. It was at this school where Terri had high acedemic scores. Not only was Terri a good student, she was really good at high jump and hurdles, often making it to interschool competitions. During the short time they had lived in Coleraine, problems had occured.

Young Carer A few years after Terri and her family had lived in Coleraine, her father, Keith, broke his back. Many problems after this occured. Keith got PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), Major Depression, Severe Anxiety and Agrophobia. During this time where her father was really depressed, Terri and her sister spent many weeks at her grandparents. Her father spent approx 16 days in Ward 9 Her sister also came down with anxiety, and border line personality disorder. Terri's father constantly blames himself for his youngest daughters illnesses. While Terri was in year 9 at Casterton Secondary College, she was chosen to be one of six people to represent Victoria at a Young Carers Summit in Sydney. It was here Terri realised the extent of what was wrong with her father. Terri and her younger sister Simone are apart of a young Carers group based in Warrnambool, Victoria, called SHAnKS (Sage Hill Adolesence N Kids). Terri and many of the other adults involved in SHAnKS have had the help of Australian Celebrities to promote the unknown organisation. With the help of Andrew Denton(Terri's sister, along with about 5 other young carers from Shanks, have been interviewed on Denton's talk show Enough Rope. This will air in late december) and ex Neighbours star Jonathan Dutton, who's father John Dutton works with ASPIRE, funds SHANKS. SHAnKS is now becoming a well funded program that allows children between 6-16 to have a day away from their families.

Recent Years In 2004, Terri was selected along with 5 other students from her year level to spend 9 weeks in Mount Hotham to do a leadership course with 40 other students across Victoria. It was here where she found a new personality, but struggled with what her 5 other classmates thought of her. They thought she was being fake as it wasnt the person she was at school. Terri stated this year, that the reason why she struggled with finding herself around people that know her best is because "at school, you're constantly trying to fit in and be cool, so you become a different person, but have this wall up so no one breaks it, but while I was at Alpine School, i let the wall down, because no one could judge me as they didnt know me, it gave me a chance to be myself, but my classmates from school thought I was being fake". As mention above (Young Carers), Terri attended the Young Carers Summit in Sydney. After this experience, Terri stated that she didnt want anything to do with mental illness. She has seen what is has done to her family and wishes no one to experience what she has. In august, she took up a job at the local IGA as a "deli chick". She stayed working here til the end of 2006. In 2007, Terri studied studio arts, visual communication, english, and health and human development in year 12. She intends on studying Visual Arts based at Deakin University for two years before heading to Melbourne to major in film.

Influences and Personal Life Some of Terri's artistic influences are Solomon J Solomon (especially artwork "Ajax and Cassandra") and Salvador Dali (Artwork "The Ship"). She currently resides in Coleraine, Victoria, (Australia) Terri also loves Josh Groban, she loves how his career got started and really admires his work as a musican. His music inspires her artwork. She has attened 2 of his concerts in Melbourne at Hamer Hall.

Colton Institute is an institute in the Colton area of Leeds. It has been running for many years and is used for a variety of activites.

Local residents previously used the institute as a meeting place to discuss important issues regarding the Colton estate, until the Colton Methodist Church was built. Activities such as Karate and Dancing take place in the institute, along with many others.

Colton Institute has been heavily affected by the significant increase in crime in Colton over the past 5 years[8], and locals are trying to put a stop to the vandalism[9][10].

Established in 1941, the primary goal of the Defense Base Act was to cover workers on military bases outside the United States. The act was amended to include public works contracts with the government for the building of non-military projects such as dams, schools, harbors, and roads abroad. A further amendment added a vast array of enterprises revolving around the national security of the United States and its allies. Today, almost any contract with an agency of the U.S. government, for work outside the U.S., whether military in nature or not, will likely require Defense Base Act coverage.

Who Requires DBA Coverage?

1. Any employee working on a military base or reservation outside the U.S.

2. Any employee engaged in U.S. government funded public works business outside the U.S.

3. Any employee engaged in a public works or military contract with a foreign government which has been deemed necessary to U.S. National Security.

4. Those employees that provide services funded by the U.S. government outside the realm of regular military issue or channels.

What are the consequences of not carrying DBA Coverage?

The term 'Ecopoetry' has come into recent, popular use as a means of denoting poetry with a strong ecological emphasis or message.

Naturally, across the ages, many poets, poems and books of poems have expressed ecological concerns; but it is only relatively recently that the phrase has gained momentum and acceptability. There is now, in English-speaking poetry, a recognisable sub-genre of poetry having a distinctively Ecopoetic thrust.

Prior to the term becoming well-known or fashionable, a number of forerunning books had delivered a potent Ecological message: although these poets did not mention the word overtly, they were clearly 'Ecopoetic' in stance and exerted a priming influence on the subsequent popularity of the sub-genre. Examples include: The White Poem by Jay Ramsay & Carole Bruce (Rivelin Grapheme Press, 1988), the work of ecopoets such as Gary Snyder and Wendell Berry, Bosco (Hearing Eye, 1999; 2001) and (more recently) Heavy Water: a poem for Chernobyl (Enitharmon Press, 2004).

One of a number of seminal texts helping to introduce the term into wider, critical use was Ecopoetry: a Critical Introduction edited by J. Scott Bryson (2002). Since then, a spate of poetry anthologies and books has appeared, either employing the word explicitly or using the idea as a guiding principle. Recent instances include Alice Oswald's The Thunder Mutters (2005) and the ground-breaking Earth Shattering: Ecopoems, edited by Neil Astley at Bloodaxe Books (2007).

One of the chief characteristics of Ecopoetry, as defined by James Engelhardt[14], is that it is connected to the world in a way that implies responsibility. As with other models that explore and assume engagement (Marxism, feminism, etc.), ecopoetry is "surrounded by questions of ethics".

The term itself is variously interpreted, and a precise definition does not exist; however, as a means of describing poetry (or poetic projects) that embrace the ecological imperative for personal sensitivity and social change, 'Ecopoetry' has now moved squarely into current use, and is cited freely across the literature by such writers as John Burnside and Mario Petrucci.

The Southern Fried Poetry Slam began officially in 1993, though there was a "Southern regional competition" in 1992 between Asheville, NC; Ann Arbor, MI; and Bloomington, IL. The first Southern Fried took place in Asheville, NC, organized and hosted by Allan Wolf. Of the six teams competing, Asheville won.

The Southern Fried competition moves around from year to year, naming individual and team champions each year. While the Southern Fried competition uses Slam as the basis for competition, it is not directly answerable to Poetry Slam, Inc., though some of the poets who do well in Southern Fried do end up appearing in the National Poetry Slam Results listing as well.

Seneca Loop, Staten Island, New York is a small comunity of townhouses off Willowbrook Road. It is feet away from The Colledge of Staten Island, which happens to be built on the grounds of the former Willowbrook State School. The community consists of three sections, all of which are made up of privatly owned residential facilities.

Seneca Loop is a six minute drive from Todt Hill. Todt Hill is one of the wealthier neighborhoods on Staten Island. It is also an area that has experienced attacks from the "Ninja Burgler." Reports of a man dressed in a ninja costume terrorizing the residents of Staten Island have received media attention. Such as New York City public radio station WPLJ, and American cable television news station CNN.

Seneca Loop is located in Willowbrook, Staten Island. The area of which is considered "mid-island." Houses in Seneca Loop are usually placed on the market with an average price range between $400,000-$500,000. The houses in the community where constructed in 1990, but many have been renovated since.

Stagecoach In Warwickshire (formed in 1993) is the current trading name of Midland Red (South) Limited. It operates services in Coventry and Warwickshire, however some routes continue into Leicestershire and Oxfordshire. Stagecoach In Warwickshire's 185 buses operate from three depots in Leamington, Rugby and Nuneaton.

The Birmingham and Midland Motor Omnibus Company (BMMO), or more commonly known as Midland Red, was formed on 26th November 1904, although Motor Bus services did not begin until August 1st 1905. Midland Red (South) Limited was formed when the Midland Red Motor Omnibus Company (MROC) ceased trading as operating companany on Saturday 1st December 1985. Midland Red (South) commenced operations the following day, taking control of 5 depots (Leamington, Nuneaton, Rugby, Banbury and Oxford) and services in Warwickshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. On 10th December 1987, Midland Red (South) was sold to Western Travel Group, who also owned the Cheltenham and Gloucester Omnibus Company. In 1993, Western Travel Group was purchased by Stagecoach Group, who renamed the company Stagecoach Midland Red. On July 1st 2002, the control of Banbury depot was handed over to Thames Transit (Stagecoach In Oxfordshire).

Stagecoach offers a number of fares to its customers, aside from accepting Network West Midland's passes (within the boundary). Basic fares differ for the distance a customer is travelling. Different passes are available; The Dayrider, The Explorer, The Megarider and the Megarider Gold, which allows anyone to travel on any Stagecoach service in Southern Britain for a week. These tickets also offer a "plus" option.

Stagecoach currently operate 185 buses from 3 depots in Warwickshire. These are a mixture of Optare Solos, Volvo Olympians (With Northern Counties and Alexander bodywork), Volvo B10Ms with Alexander PS bodywork, but mainly Dennis Darts, with Plaxton or Alexander bodywork.
