Los Angeles based writer and performance artist Lenora Claire created the Golden Gals Gone Wild show concept after purchasing the now infamous nude oil painting of Bea Arthur by Chris Zimmerman. Having noticed the publics reaction to the piece Claire decided to curate an entire show based around the theme of erotic interpretations of the Golden Girls. Claire has been quoted as saying "art is supposed to make you think and feel" and that the show was unique in taking something familiar from pop culture and taking it out of it's element. All for the purpose of opening up discussion about "ageism and sexuality, but with a subversive camp twist".

After the story broke about the scandalous and thought provoking nature of the show, curator Lenora Claire appeared as a guest on the popular NPR show Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me to discuss Golden Gals Gone Wild as well as gave interviews with the Globe, National Enquirer, LA Times, Frontiers Magazine, and countless blogs.

The show first opened Saturday August 11th at the World of Wonder gallery storefront in Hollywood, California. There were nearly 2,000 estimated patrons during the four hour event. Claire declared live on WOW TV that 12 pieces had sold within the first hour.

Claire has always maintained that the show was created out of respect for the Golden Girls and a nod to the progressive nature of the show.

Celebrities Giovanni Ribisi, Erika Christiansen, James St. James, were among 2000 guests opening night.

The opening was broadcast live via the internet on the WOW TV show Ring My Bell that allowed home viewers to call in and speak with the curator Lenora Claire, host James St. James, many of the artists as well as guests at the show.

Claire has stated in various interviews that she intends to travel with the show and that there has been talk of a coffee table book.

Kelly Ann Maset was the first child born in Houston who grew up thinking he was a girl. He was know for his long hair, braces, and whiny "REAL" sister. He disapeared sometime in 2006 after expressing displease about his parents buying a ridiculously expensive lakehouse instead of buying him a car for his 16th birthday.

Kathryn Higgins is a prominent member of her community. Kathryn comes from a long line of all-americans, tracing history back hundreds of years, and decending from men of great leadership. The Rumblejetts are a rockabilly band from Kansas City, Missouri. The band appeared in July and August 2007 on the CBS Early Show as finalists for the "Living Room Live: Battle of the Bands" competition and recently finished their 3rd Cd called "Cool Down Baby" on SpinJett records. The album was recorded at Sun Studios in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2007, they also performed as an opening act for The Stray Cats. The Rumblejetts feature Pedro Mora on upright bass and vocals, Jim Holopter on lead guitar, and Judd Kite on drums.

Austen West was born on December 13, 1989 during a major Virginia blizzard. Followed by another blizzard in February that dumped a record two feet of snow within a month. He grew up in a close-knit family, being home schooled kindergarten through second grade. Showing a mediocre scale of intelligence, his family and peers did not set him aside as a prodigy until ninth grade.

Directly after being induced into high school, Austen's true capabilities began to show. Winning science fairs, obtaining and maintaining the highest GPA in his class, and still inventing and start clubs as an extra curricular hobby.

Starting eleventh grade at the age of 15, he approached his career counselor and asked if early admission into college was possible. At that time, it wasn't possible for an eleventh grader to attend college full-time, like he planned.

Yet after a petition to Florida's capital, he became the poster boy for their "Rigorous and Relevant" project. At that time, he was initiated into college full-time. At his current track, he will be able to graduate his high school along with college obtaining a diploma and AA degree simultaneously.

At the age of 16, he started a scholarship program designed to help him and others in his position with completing college in their desired areas. Currently, he has been featured on several news castings and newspapers in his local area, and soon to be a hit with America, if the project ever takes flight.

Austen is currently a 17 year old junior that is in a Dual Enrollment program through his High School. This is a program that admits academically achieving High School students go to college early in order to obtain their A.A. Degree by the time of their High School Graduation.

Austen is in his second year of Community College due to his diligence in qualifications to be able to do full time early admissions to the college.

Also some of the Community Services he has participated in is starting a club called Best Buddies at his High School, Pedro Menendez. This is a Club that specializes in forming Friendships with standard education students and E.S.E. students.

Also he was a Finalist in the Science Fair at his High School and won several awards at the regional science fair including the Coke-a-Cola Water Award, U.S. Army award, and a Water Achievement Award.

In his Freshman and Sophomore years of High school he was Awarded National Honor Roll, and he is currently an active member in the National Honors Society at his High School. His future aspects are to open up a Best Buddies Branch at his Community College. Also he is scheduled to obtain his A.A. Degree in the December of 2007. This technically will have him graduate college before high school. Yet when he graduates, his college will cease to be funded by the state of Florida, hence the scholarship website.

The goals for the future consist of getting his Doctorate Degree in Mechanical Engineering specializing in alternate fuel source researching and developmental technologies. Austen said "I would like to find an energy source that limits our dependence on oil, and frees us from the grip of toxic pollutants that form from the use of fossil fuels."

Although the origin of the Scrumptious Dump (Latin name: Crapitus Delicio) is unknown, it is believed that it derives from an African tribe. It is said, that this group loved to just sit down and let one loose. Their "Crapitus Delicio" was like none other, it is actually supposed to have magical powers. To this day, scientists still haven't found an actual chunk of this tribe's CRAP, but they are making strides towards finding the perfect, let's just say, "Doo Doo Butter". It has been found that to achieve the best dump, one must take it on a white dog's rump. I have actually tried this myself and man was it tasty! Merveille Lukeba (born March 30th 1990) is a young British actor currently represented by AMG Acting Agency.

Born in Kinshasa, Republic Of Congo, Merveille was raised in London, England.

As well as numerous commercials for the likes of Ford Mondeo, Trident and UEFA Merveille only really first appeared on TV in the long running ITV police series The Bill where he played Tre Douglas in Episode 525 Killing Me Softly. Aswell as this Merveille also has a movie role to his credits as in 2006 he was casted in the award winning movie Ezra, where he played the role of Moses, a sierra leonian child soldier swept away by war which had devestated his country.

         Abdul Rahman Abdul Rahim is a senior lecturer in the oldest university if Malaysia, namely University Malaya. He is an experienced lecturer with lots of academic transcripts and research paper under his belt. He is however also notorious for being very cynical. Abdul Rahman Abdul Rahim is known as one of the most cruel lecturers to step into the faculty of engineering, with a record 60% failure for the subject he is lecturing. His decision to set such high standards have come under heavy fire and critism by his students, especially the cream of the class. His assignments are known to be extensive, very informative for students, a real eye-opener but also an assignment that is virtually impossible to complete in time.

         Abdul Rahman Abdul Rahim was also once a marine engineer, venturing into the open sea before returning to shore to become a lecturer. Although he is currently into his late 60's, he show no sign of aging and is always on the go to share his knowledge with his students, and at the same time, making sure that the endure a hard time and suffer with low grades. All in all, Abdul Rahman Abdul Rahim is an outstanding lecturer that deserves recognition not just within University Malaya but also at national level.

Black's career as an entertainer started at the age of 5, as she appeared in several dance performances as well as theater productions. She began her Acting career at 7 as a lost boy in Peter Pan. Amrit Sahota born 16th September 1983, in West Bromwich, Birmingham before moving to Letchworth in Hertfordshire. Her studies took her back to the Midlands, she graduated in 2005 from BA (Hons) University of Wolverhampton in Marketing and Media Communications Studies. With an interest in the media industry she went on to do work experience at a small publishing house in Letchworth, where she was made the production manager, after only three months of work experience. Stanford Reynolds "Stan" Brookshire (1905–1990) was a mayor of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Brookshire served as mayor from 1961 to 1969. He was the longest-serving mayor until 1975, when his immediate successor, John Belk, tied him by winning his fourth reelection. Current mayor Pat McCrory is the longest-serving mayor, now in his fifth term.

The Brookshire Freeway, as well as Brookshire Boulevard (both parts of North Carolina Highway 16), are named in honor of him, and he, along with Belk, is the subject of a book by Alex Coffin, entitled Brookshire & Belk: Businessmen in City Hall.

The bridge is located in the the western suburbs of Melbourne and crosses the Maribyrnong River. It is located near the E.J. Whitten Bridge, and is 400 metres long (hence the quarter mile name). It was built in 1928, employing 200 with one person dying during its construction. The bridge carries mainly freight trains, but also carries the Melbourne/Sydney CountryLink XPT.

*Kobb - A giant sea mammal resembling a monstrous sea lion. Strips of skin hanging from its neck, tail and fins allow it to camouflage itself as a raft of seaweed. The only known specimen of this species lives on the Isle of the Dead.

KYMI was started by the town founders as an outlet for commercials for the liquor store. It went on the air in 1990 on 107.9 mhz. In 1996 it changed frequencies to 98.5 which allowed a station in Odessa, TX to increase it's height and power. That is the old KYMI channel conflicted with expanded use in Odessa. By finding a new channel for KYMI, it became possible to expand the other station.

Rear Admiral MacDonald was born in 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and entered the Navy in May of that year.

Rear Adm. MacDonald was commissioned an Ensign in the Unrestricted Line through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps. Following the normal Surface Warfare pipeline, he reported to the USS Hepburn (FF 1055) in October 1979 where he served as Main Propulsion Assistant and Navigator. After a two-year tour at Fleet Combat Training Center, Pacific where he served as Intermediate Combat Systems Team Training and Advanced Multi-Threat Team Training course director, he was selected for the Law Education Program in 1984. He received his degree of Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in 1987.

In 1987, Rear Adm. MacDonald reported to Naval Legal Service Office San Diego where he served as Senior Defense Counsel, Trial Counsel, and Medical Care Recovery Act Claims Officer. In 1990, he reported aboard USS Independence (CV 62) as the Command Judge Advocate. After receiving a Master of Laws degree from Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1992, he was transferred to Seoul, Korea, where he served as Chief, Operational Law Division, on the staffs of United Nations Command, Combined Forces Command, and United States Forces Korea. He also served as Staff Judge Advocate on the staff of United States Naval Forces Korea.

In August 1994, Rear Adm. MacDonald reported aboard Naval Legal Service Office Northwest as its Executive Officer. In November 1996, he became the Officer in Charge of Trial Service Office West Detachment Bremerton. In July 1997, he reported to Commander Seventh Fleet in Yokosuka, Japan as the Fleet Judge Advocate. Rear Adm. MacDonald assumed command of Naval Legal Service Office Northwest in August 1999, serving as commanding officer until June 2002. He was assigned to the Pentagon as the Special Counsel to the Chief of Naval Operations from June 2002 through October 2004. In November 2004, Rear Adm. MacDonald became the Deputy Judge Advocate General and Commander, Naval Legal Service Command. In July 2006, Rear Adm. MacDonald assumed his current position as Judge Advocate General of the Navy.

Rear Adm. MacDonald is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of California and the United States District Court for the Southern District of California. His military decorations include the Legion of Merit with two Gold Stars, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Meritorious Service Medal with Gold Star, the Navy Commendation Medal with Gold Star, and the Navy Achievement Medal with Gold Star.

The Qemists have worked in every musical capacity available, from remixers to live sound for the likes of Coldcut, Basement Jaxx, Dreadzone, Kano, Lady Sovereign, as well as many of the biggest names in Drum n Bass.

In 2005 their debut release on Ninja Tune, a remix of Coldcut’s “Everything is under control” had massive support from Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, 1Xtra’s Crissy Criss, Andy C, Pendulum, as well as making it into Pendulum and Coldcut’s Radio 1 Essential mixes. Laurent Garnier said about the track “The Qemists remix is a phat monster motherfucker – Great! Can’t wait to play it at the weekend!” (And he did!)

Their 3 man, 2 deck, 2 laptop DJ set was born, bursting with double drops, live remixes and the sound of technology. This has landed them a residency at Devotion in their hometown of Brighton, and sets around the country.

The Qemists first started working together as the drummer, bassist and guitarist in a rock band. This took them around the UK and Europe gigging and gave them a lot of time in the studio recording. It was during this time, around 1997, that an interest in Drum n Bass took hold, and some of the groups early DnB efforts started to get airplay. For years the three were playing in a rock band by day and producing and djing dnb by night, which lead to an inevitable conclusion; why not do both at the same time.

Blueprint Skateboards was created in 1995 by Faze 7 Distribution as the first British skateboard company set up to perpetuate British Skateboarding. It was at a time in the industry when US skate companies dominated the market, and the idea of a British based skateboard company with home grown professionals was unheard of and many thought such a company would not succeed. But starting small with a simple and straightforward plan has seen Blueprint steadily grow to its current position amongst the forefront of European companies.

Faze 7 Distribution had been distributing USA quality skateboard brands in the U.K since 1985 including H Street, Blind, World Industries, Plan B and many other top USA skateboard companies. In 1995 Joe Burlo, CEO of Faze 7 felt that skateboarding was seeing a downturn in the U.K. and decided to set up a British skateboard company to help arrest the decline in British skating. This was not only to give British skaters an identity of their own but so skateboarding could flourish in the UK and safeguard it's future.

At this time, success in skateboarding was perceived as having to be a company wholly based in Southern California. It was thought to be highly improbable for a skateboard company to succeed if it was not based in California, and practically impossible if it was based outside the USA. So for a British born skateboarder, the only option was to move to the USA and attempt to make it as a professional over there. This was, and still is; very hard and only a few British skaters have made it. We thought this was harsh for a British skateboarder, so Blueprint's intention was to create a company, which would be on a level playing field with one based in the USA. Therefore giving a home to some amazing talent which otherwise may have gone to waste. Over the years Blueprint had it's teething problems, as with every company, but with a simple and straightforward approach alongside a strong work ethic both on the team and production side has propelled the company onto the world stage and given Blueprint an international reputation for quality. Many of the current professional skaters on Blueprint have been there since the early days and the current professional line up of Paul Shier, Colin Kennedy, Mark Baines, Scott Palmer and Vaughan Baker is as strong as ever, this line up was recently made even stronger this summer with the addition of four fresh new professional riders, Nick Jensen, Neil Smith, Chewy Cannon and Danny Brady. All these riders came up 'through the ranks' of the Blueprint amateur program and have earned their pro models via much hard work and determination, it took many years before either of them were to be even considered professional skateboarders for Blueprint. This is in a current skate world where the possibility to turn pro is sometimes too premature. But in the case of Nick, Danny, Neil and Chewy turning pro for Blueprint was definitely worth waiting for as they have all excelled into their new roles as professional skateboarder's for Blueprint Skateboards. The current amateur team now stands as, Jerome Cambell, Mike Wright, Steph Morgan and Tuukka Korhonen, which are all held in high regard with some already considered to be of 'pro' status.

Although Blueprint skateboards is wholly owned by Faze 7, it is totally independent with it's own dedicated in house Art and creativity department. Simon Burlo runs International sales and marketing, Dan Magee creates and oversees Art direction, Joe Burlo oversees production and Neil Chester takes care of team management, filming and promotional duties. The Blueprint team also has a say in all team related matters and together we make the decisions which we feel best suite the company. We view the main qualification, which we all possess is the love of our work and total dedication to skateboarding and Blueprint. This dedication shows through in the ethos of the company and it is our aim to propel this love and desire onto the customer when they buy Blueprint product. This is why Blueprint product sells through over and over again and is seen by many as the leading, best selling skateboard company in the U.K. British skate shop owners are really pleased with Blueprint for what it has done for the British skate industry.

Blueprint hardware such as decks and wheels is sourced and manufactured in the USA, mainly in Southern California. This is where most of the best skateboard hardware is and has been manufactured for the past 20 years. These factories manufacture for most of the top USA skateboard companies. Blueprint only uses the best genuine Canadian hard rock maple for decks and the best chemicals and formulae for wheels. Tempting as it may, as it has been for many people in the industry, we have not switched deck manufacturing to China. Being a privately owned company we still have 100% control over suppliers and quality of raw materials and maintain manufacturing in the USA so that Blueprint consumers always expect the same consistent high quality materials when they buy a Blueprint deck. You may fool some of the consumers, some of the time but never all of them all of the time. Originally only available in the U.K., worldwide demand has grown alongside the company and Blueprint is now available in Europe, Asia, the America's and Australia.

The Blueprint line consists of 35 Skateboard decks mostly pro models, 20 pro model wheels, mounting hardware, accessories and soft goods comprising mainly of a range of 20 tees, 12 hooded sweats, low profile five panel and mesh caps, wallets and genuine skate jeans. All clothing styles are meticulously researched before going into production. As any skater will acknowledge, contrary to their appearance, skaters are some of the most fussy and fastidious people to sell to, sometimes spending hours looking for a single cap with the right fit, colour and logo. Recent innovations in skateboard deck technology have seen Blueprint increase its choice to the customer by offering Convexture construction on selected pro models alongside Team and Pro edition decks. Blueprint's aim is to cater for every type of skateboarder and provide a product range that will suit all types of skateboarder.

Marketing is a very delicately balanced combination of magazine advertising, pro and amateur skater sponsorship, skate demos and tours, skate contests, videos and a our website. All of these media formats have a continuous seamless message for all to see the feeling of fellowship and belonging to Blueprint. Blueprint has always believed in the power of video and after a few early video releases, such as A Mixed Media in 1996 which promptly sold several thousand copies in the U.K. alone, followed by Anthems in 1997, which sold worldwide in both PAL (European format) and NTSC (USA Format). It was the release of the video, Waiting For The World in 2000 that really defined Blueprint as a team and opened everyone's eyes to the talent of our riders and what the UK has to offer. From here Blueprint went on to produce First Broadcast in 2001, which further displayed the skills and diversity of the team. Rather than rest on these successful videos Blueprint continued to develop by the team working hard for regular coverage in both European and worldwide magazines, such as Skateboarder, Transworld, Slap, Thrasher, Kingpin, with Sidewalk and Document taking care of coverage at home. Over the past few year's work was put into the Blueprint amateur program with new young riders coming on board and filming commenced for Lost And Found, our biggest and best Blueprint film yet. The team travelled virtually non-stop over the length and breath of Europe over the past two years in search of only the finest skate spots in order to film their video parts. Lost And Found was then premiered to nearly 1000 skaters in London on March 12th 2005. The following 2-disc DVD set was released shortly after to worldwide acclaim. It was also premiered in virtually every country in Europe, the USA and many other parts of the world. The release has further pushed Blueprint on to new level and coming directly from our strong amateur program and their breakthrough video parts in Lost And Found, both Danny Brady and Nick Jensen were tuned pro after the DVD release. Their pro models, which were only recently debuted, have been very fast sellers with demand very high.

As the European skateboard industry continues to grow, Blueprint is right at the forefront and now sits alongside successful American skateboard companies in equal desire, if not more so. Gone are the days when European board companies sat at the bottom of skate shop racks. It has grown so much that they are currently out selling US based product by quite a margin. European skateboard products offer another choice to the ever-discerning skateboarder who might be looking for something different. It will also help to maintain the longevity of the sport by offering a sense of pride as the skaters whose pro model sits on the shelf might live in the same city and not across the Atlantic.

Katrine is a small village in District of Parry Sound, Ontario, Canada. It is located in the township of Armour on Highway 11, about 6 km south of Burk's Falls.

Katrine overlooks Doe Lake, which is located on the west side of the village. Three Mile Lake and Deer Lake are located about 5 km east of the village. Businesses in town include the Katrine Lucky Dollar and chip stand, Katrine Marine, and the 9 hole Katrine Golf and Country Club. There is also a small public beach on Doe Lake, and a community centre located on Highway 11.
