'Zioncheck for President is the abbreviated title of the memoir 'Zioncheck for President: A True Story of Idealism and Madness in American Politics'. It was written by Phil Campbell and published by Nation Books in 2005. It follows the story of Campbell, who agrees to manage the city council campaign of his friend Grant Cogswell, a progressive activist and anti-globalist protester. A comedic subplot in the book involves Campbell’s increasing political problems with his housemates.

The titular character in Zioncheck for President is Marion Zioncheck, a radical Seattle Congressman from the 1930s who killed himself after realizing that he cannot change the world. The book, according to The Chicago Reader, is a “mordantly funny account of the erosion of Campbell’s youthful ideals.” Sam Lipsyte, author of Home Land, calls Zioncheck for President, calls Zioncheck “a wild and tender campaign memoir that reads like a deadpan comic novel.”

The film rights to Zioncheck were sold in 2007 to producer/director Stephen Gyllenhaal.

Zioncheck for President was praised by The Boston Globe, the Chicago Reader, The Stranger, The Seattle Times, and The Memphis Flyer, as well as by websites like Bookslut and The Huffington Post.

Watatani Kiyoshi Watatani Kiyoshi was born in Wakayama City in Meiji 36 (1904). A descendant of a gunnery instructor (Yoshikawa-ryu hojoutsu) of the Kishu domain, his father was a minister. After his father's death, he was sent to live with relatives, first in Awajijima and then in Kobe, where he was adopted by the Watatani family.

When in middle school he studied Ryugo Ryu Kenjutsu (of the style transmitted in Takino Domain)

He graduated from Waseda University and was a member of the Bungeika Kyokai. He has written and edited more than forty books in a variety of fields, including history, historical novels, interpreting, geography of Edo, research (methods?), as well as twenty-five books on the history of martial arts and traditions.

Watatani Kiyoshi was a close friend of Takamatsu, the teacher of Hatsumi of the Bujinkan.[

The buttosphere is the second highest layer of the Earth's atmosphere (before the ionosphere.) The buttosphere originally developed as a collection of methane gas created when Paul Bunyan ate the largest pot of chili ever concieved, and farted a mighty, hearty, wet fart. The methane released from this epic fart floated into the atmosphere and created the buttosphere.

Darcy Olsen is the President and CEO of the Goldwater Institute, a free market limited government think tank in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to her executive position at Goldwater, Darcy served as the Director for Education and Child Policy at the Cato Institute in Washington D.C. Early in her career she managed a halfway house for the Coalition for the Homeless in Washington D.C.

GrooveDog accepted an article that had one source, of which Powers rejected to similar sources for the subject of Darcy Olsen. Logically this makes no sense. One of the two does not understand what a "third party source" constitutes. Powers does not understand the concept of verifiability, given the wiki rules on the subject. No source was a blog, or a personal website, but websites to reputable think tanks.

Blitz Team Parkour is located 3 hours south of Sydney in the Nowra-Ulladulla Shoalhaven region. There are currently 3 members in the team the original creators of this team from the 20th of March 2007 Chris "Blitz" Goddard and Roy "Orion" Trimarchi also two other traceurs did join on the 16th of April 2007 called Matt "Rapidite" Braine and Warwick "Aray" Hughes but they decided to start practicing another sport called Tricking and left the team on the 3rd of July 2007 to make a new Tricking team. A week after that a Beggining Traceur called Jeremy "Nave" Bexton joined the team and went to his first jam with them on the 10th of July 2007.

Stratuspeer (Cid Stephen Andeza, Ronel Taruc, Edward Espinosa and Christian Atienza) was formed way back 1994. These four were classmates and decided to form a band during the Eraserheads hype era. They used a lot of names before coming up with Stratuspeer such as Unknown, Live Wire, Speedoflight, etc.

They just currently released an album (titled Stratuspeer) and is now currently receiving a lot of positive hysteria. They are now planning to follow the footsteps of their mentor (as for music writing inspiration - Eraserheads) to put a stop on pop junk (songs from Cueshet, Shakol, etc.). We wish you luck Stratuspeer and may you have more birthdays to come.

Riverlore Mansion is an elegant white French Second Empire Style Mansion that is located in Cairo’s residential section of 28th and Washington Avenues. This was once known as Millionaire’s Row.

This beautiful 11-room brick mansion was built in 1865 by Captain Williman Parker Halliday. The mansion has only had four owners and is now owned by The City of Cairo.

The mansion is located on ¾ of an acre which is beautifully landscaped with gorgeous flowers and a 100 years old Gingko tree.

Filfel Gourgy was born at the beginning of the 1930s in Baghdad, Iraq, and died in 1983 in the courtyard of his home in Israel.

In the course of his life he managed to leave his imprint on Iraqi music, proving beyond all doubt that he was one of the great standard bearers of the modern revolution which took place in the field.

He was born in Baghdad in “Suq al-Hanoon” to a prosperous family of merchants. While still a child, he became known among those close to him as possessing a rare poetic ability and the voice of an angel.

As a youngster, he was taken in hand by Hassan Habka, a Muslim Iraqi singer. His classical and musical Muslim education bestowed on him the privilege of reading the Koran to millions of Arab viewers, on the eve of Ramadan, on Israel Television. On 1950, due to the undermining of the harmonious relations which had existed between Jews and Muslims in Iraq and the “Farhood pogroms”, Gourgy was no longer able to conceal his Jewish identity, hitherto kept secret. He was smuggled into Iran in the dead of night. Thus manifestations of hostility effectively cut short the young musician’s career in Iraq. After spending some six months in Iran, he immigrated to Israel. In no time at all he became famous, gaining a following among Jews from Iraq. His name also became known among the Muslims in Iraq and Jordan who listened to the Voice of Israel in Arabic.

Filfel Gourgy wrote the words and composed the melody for most of his songs, the majority of them universal songs, in both literary and spoken Arabic, even updating ancient folk songs.

Without a doubt, Filfel Gourgy occupies a place in the pantheon of Arab song and music, as an outstanding artist: his exceptional vocal talent and musical achievements assure him of an undisputed position among the greats. To this day, Filfel Gourgy is considered as one of the inheritors of the Arab classical singers such as Farid el Atrash, Umm Kulthum and Muhammad Abed el Waheb.

Madhya Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express (Hindi:-मध्य प्रदेश सम्पर्क क्रान्ति एक्सप्रेस), is a one of the important trains among Sampark Kranti Express Trains introduced in the 2005AD Indian Railway Budget. The train is announced between Jabalpur, an Indian city in the state of Madhya Pradesh to National Capital of India, New Delhi. This train presently terminates at Hazrat Nizamuddin a suburb near New Delhi which is located 8kms approximately to south of New Delhi.

History of Jabalpur dates back to epic Ramayana(रामायण) period. Sage Jabali also known as Satyakama Jabali(Devanagari:-सत्यकाम जाबालि) who lived around this region and hence the name is Jabalpur or City of Jabali. Other story goes that the word Jabalpur is based on a Arabic and sanskrit mix which indicates the city of hillocks. Jabal in Arabic means hill or hillocks and evedently Jabalpur is surrounded by many small hills around. Also some graves of Arabs found here.

During the Great epic Mahabharat(महाभारत), Jabalpur was under Tripuri Kingdom and the town was known as Tripuri.

Jabalpur is known as Cultural Capital of Madhya Pradesh situated on the bank of river Narmada in a magnificent landscape. One bench of High Court of Madhya Pradesh is based at Jabalpur while the other bench is in Indore City, known as Financial Capital or Industrial Capital of Madhya Pradesh situated in Malwa [[Plateau] on the West of Bhopal.

Also Jabalpur high court served for Indian States of Orissa, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh while Nagpur was the capital of then Madhya Pradesh known as Central Province of British India.

Those who attended the recent Tawag ng tanghalan-USA 2006 Talent competition at the Los Angeles Convention Center held on October 1, 2006, surely remember the exceptional performance of Eleven-year-old Lianna Gutierrez, who won the championship trophy besting eleven other contestants who were much older than she is. Another feather to her cap is her winning the 2006 Pop Star Kid champion title from GMA. Her most recent award was the child performer of the year given by Gawad Amerika during a celebration held at the celebrity center International in Hollywood on November 18, 2006.

Very talented and extremely confident on stage, one would think Lianna has been performing for many years. Not so. Although she has already started singing when she was only three years old, it was only last year when she decided to take formal voice class and singing lessons to polish her style.

Under the adept coaching styles of Sharon T., young Lianna immediately blossomed into the talented performer that she is. Her first stage performance was in the "Mothers Day - A gift of love" concert by te Aldeguer sisters performing arts center (ASPAC) held in Baldwin Park Performing arts center in May 8, 2005. Since then, she has appeared in various shows, concerts, and community events.

Notable among her performances were in "Showtime 2006" Held in Diamond Bar on March 19, 2006; in the fund raiser concert of the Guardian Angels of America Foundation held in La Mirada Golf Course on April 18, 2006; on July 22, 2006 she performed with Dessa in a concert titled "Voices Of Love", Which was held in Glendale; at the Pasinaya 2006 on August 3, 2006 held at the Musikahan Restaurant in Bellflower; and at the "Ryot sa Amerika" concert in Las Vegas, on August 20, 2006.

Chong Lit Cheong is the Chief Executive Officer of International Enterprise (IE) Singapore. IE Singapore was formerly known as the Singapore Trade Development Board, and is an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Singapore. The aim of IE Singapore is to assist Singapore companies to grow globally.

Chong Lit Cheong was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) Singapore. He was also formerly the Managing Director of A*Star Singapore (formerly known as National Science and Technology Board, Singapore).

Chong Lit Cheong was a Colombo Plan Scholar who graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics) Degree from the University of Tokyo in 1980.

Inside Iraq: The Untold Stories (1) is a documentary film by Mike Shiley. The film is produced by Shidog Films (2), which was founded by Mike Shiley. The film is an objective account with some clips of embedded journalism.

I don't understand this movie has being an official selection for 5 different movie festivals. Non-notable seems a little understated. The movie didn't get enough hit because I believe the content would've raised eye brows. It's unfortunate Wikipedia editors are unjustly impeding important information and exposure of a note-worthy film.

The Double Dutch Divas are an elite group which consists of four girls. Leah, BK, Javvany, and Jasmine. They all started out at a school called Lancaster in 96'. There they had a coach named Mr. Graham who worked on them very hard to get them into shape and to prepare them for competitions. They became famous when the performed in competitions and won first place on their first year, then they later on went to performing in front of crowds at State Fair. They were making a lot of money were able to ride in limos and were the talk of the town. They later split up by people leaving the group one by one because their parents pulled them out do to them interfering with their schedule. Til' this day there will be no more Double Dutch Divas anymore but the girls who made up the team are all in college becoming succesful.

Aryo DANUSIRI (1973, Jakarta) makes documentary and ethnographic films about human rights and ethnical tensions in Indonesia. His films have been screened at festivals worldwide. He is executive director of Ragam Media Network, an NGO that develops visual media as a catalyst for cross-cultural learning and community knowledge management. His current projects include Connexxcreen for Countering Fundamentalism in Indonesia (sponsored by HIVOS) and Playing between Elephants, and ethnographic film about Aceh’s reconstruction processes. Trevor Silmser is the founder and president of Marathon Management, a New York City-based artist management firm.

Getting his start at New York-based Nasty Little Man (publicity firm for Radiohead, Beastie Boys, and Foo Fighters, among others) in 1995, Trevor Silmser quickly advanced in the artist management side of the company. He co-managed Sparklehorse (Capitol) and Helium (Matador) with Shelby Meade and Sick Of It All (East/West), Sensefield (Warner Bros.) and Shudder To Think (Epic) with NLM founder Steve Martin. As the company started phasing out of management, Silmser independently took on management duties for Sick Of It All until 1999 while also working on the Tibetan Freedom Concerts.

Silmser took advantage of the press opportunities that NLM had to offer and headed up campaigns for Aphex Twin, BS2000 (Adam Horowit's side project), while bringing in clients of his own such as AFI, Rival Schools, DJ Honda, Alkaline Trio, and his biggest press campaign, At The Drive-In.

In 2001, Silmser began managing Andrew W.K. (Island Def Jam) and founded Marathon Management out of necessity after 9/11, as the NLM office was inaccessible due to its proximity to the World Trade Center. The Marathon Management roster now includes bands such as The Stills (Vice/Atlantic), Diamond Nights (Kemado), Young Love (Island Def Jam), Pagoda (Ecstatic Peace/Universal), Priestess (RCA), and The International Noise Conspiracy (American Recordings).

Silmser also founded BANDANDCREW.com in 2007. A website created to put bands/people in touch with musicians and crew members.

Derrick was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick and started out mainly as a step dancer beginning lessons at the age of 4. This is where his journey as a performer began. Derrick entered numerous dance competitions in the Maritimes, any place that had a summer festival which involved a step dancing competition. He eventually expanded to Jazz and Tap dancing with the Bonnie Kilburn School of Dance at the Frederiction YM/YWCA. He danced there for 3 years until joining Character's Incorporated- a high energy song and dance troupe out of Fredericton, NB. He had been doing some singing previous to this, but it was at this time that he really found his voice.

After touring the country and the world with Character's for 3 years, Derrick attended Acadia University where he began his formal studies in singing. It was there that Derrick's instructors thought a career in opera may be where he was headed because of his voice type (Tenor) and physical stature. Derrick then moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia for 2 years to study at the Maritime Conservatory of Music, winning awards in Opera, Operetta, and Musical Theatre in the Kiwanis Music Festival. He also performed at the Halifax Feast Dinner Theatre. Derrick then left Halifax to pursue a graduate degree in voice at the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford in Connecticut. Upon completion of his studies there, a few very important things happened:

he was hired to sing in a production of Rough Crossing by Tom Stoppard at the Tony award winning Hartford Stage Company

he worked as a lead vocalist on a cruise ship for 7 months cruising from Copenhagen to Hong Kong

he worked at the Merry Go Round Playhouse for a season in up-state New York in La Cage aux Folles, Camelot, and Cabaret

he was hired to perform in the U.S. National Tour of the musical Funny Girl, which toured the mid-West and Western United States

in 2002 Derrick moved to Toronto, and after a year and half of auditions and very hard work, finally got hired by the Canadian Opera Company to perform with their Chorus of professional singers

since then, Derrick has become a member of Canadian Actors Equity Association, has performed in film/commercials/and TV, continues to sing with the Canadian Opera Company and Opera Ontario, has performed in The Sound of Music with Theatre Aquarius in Hamilton, ON, and in The Taming of the Shrew with Shakespeareworks in Toronto. Derrick has recently released his first full length CD entitled Page One.

Newbold is a neighborhood in South Philadelphia. Its boundaries are Washington Avenue, S Broad Street, Passyunk Avenue, and S 18th Street. The Indian Satellite Launch Vehicle or SLV was a project started in the early 1970s by Indian Space Research Organisation to develop the technology needed to launch satellites. The project leader was Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who is the present President of India. SLV was intended to reach a height of 400 km and carry a payload of 40 kg. SLV is a four stage rocket with all solid-propellant motors. The first launch of the SLV took place in Sriharikota on 10 August 1979. The last launch of the SLV took place on 17 April 1983. SLV formed the basis of the ASLV.

Lower Hutt City Association Football and Sports Club Inc was formed in 1967 through the merger of the Railways Football Club and the Lower Hutt Association Football Club. Of the two, Lower Hutt had the longer pedigree, Railways the more successful one.

Lower Hutt was formed in its most basic sense in 1921 when a team from the Hutt Young Men's Institute had a couple of good wins (3-0 and 7-0 for the record) against the Anglican Boys' Home. They decided to form a club and enter a team in the Wellington Football Association competition. The club was officially affiliated with the Association on March 15 1922 with playing colours of brown with a gold shield. Railways Football Club was formed in 1942 and acquired a solid record and five life members in the twenty-five years it existed before the merger.

Lower Hutt City has compiled a very respectable record in its thirty-eight year history. It has won local Wellington competitions several times (the last being in 2003 when Lower Hutt destroyed all before it) and made several appearances in various national league configurations devised by New Zealand Soccer.

There have been many notable club members over the proud history of Lower Hutt City soccer.

Book By You Publishing is a publishing company established in 1999. It is notable for its production of personalized novels, which star the reader. Books are ordered online, by phone, or by fax. The person placing the order is asked to fill out a short form asking for various personalized characteristics (name, hair colour, body type, etc), and they are published in a template book, which is delivered by mail. Many titles are available, from either the children's section, or the romance section.

Christopher Wall, born in 1975 and living in Philadelphia, holds the Guiness World Record for having lived the longest with his heart outside his chest. This rare condition is called ectopia cordis. I have gathered only this much information, and to what I know he should still be alive. On the website YouTube, there are a few blurbs and footage of Christopher Wall 9 years ago.

I know nothing else, I saw christopher Wall and thought he deserved a place in the Wikipedia encyclopedia.

Darcy Olsen is the President and CEO of the Goldwater Institute, a free market limited government think tank in Phoenix, AZ. Prior to her executive position at Goldwater, Darcy served as the Director for Education and Child Policy at the Cato Institute in Washington D.C. Early in her career she managed a halfway house for the Coalition for the Homeless in Washington D.C.
