The heart is the main organ in the human body keeping us alive. It pumps blood to get to other parts of the body to keep it going. The heart is about the size of an average male's fist. It is inside the middle of your chest, slightly to the left. It is also a powerful pump made almost entirely out of muscle. The heart tightens and relaxes automatically about 65 times a minute to pump blood out through the arteries. It has two sides seperated by what is calles the septum. The right side is smaller and weaker then the left side, and only pumps blood to the lungs. The left side is stronger and pumps blood to the rest of the body. Each side of the heart has two chambers. Theres the atrium (atria) at the top where blood accumulates from the veins, and a ventricle below which cotracts to pump blood into the arteries.

[edit] Critical Mass (Punk Band from Miami and Altamonte Springs, Florida)
This request for creation has been declined. Please do not modify it. |

This request for creation has been reviewed. The reviewer comments appear below the article text.
If you want to make changes and try again, copy and paste your article into a new submission and make your changes there. Formed in the early 70's in Miami, Florida, Critical Mass brandishes their version of melodic power pop from roots in The Sex Pistols, The Ramones, The Stranglers to The Beatles and Cheap Trick. The band's first self produced demo, a two song 45 of "Silver Screen" backed with "No One Left To Blame" released in 1978, has become a sought after example of Florida's first punk band. Underground punk aficionados craving rare unheard late 70's punk rock can find copies on eBay commanding hundreds of dollars. Ryan Richardson of BreakMyFace.com calls it a swamplands gem". Since its inception Critical Mass developed a reputation as the band to see as well as hear. Band founder and singer songwriter Mick Fazz became famous for not only rocking crowds with eclectic mixes of strong original material but also performances of tunes by “The Sex Pistols“, “The Stranglers“, and “Jethro Tull“, material considered very unconventional for bar bands of the day. Fazz also became famous for his captivating on stage persona and in crowd antics including being chased by the nightclubs chef with a meat cleaver as he ran through the audience with a T-Bone hanging from his mouth. After a couple of years of self promoted concerts, gigs at local Big Daddy's night clubs and sending out tapes by the dozens interest soon followed. The band began playing showcases for major record labels like Capitol, RCA, RSO and MCA. These showcases included a gig at Tramp's in New York City arranged by legendary Beatles promoter Sid Bernstein. This showcase led to a debut album deal with a five album option on MCA records. Recording began at Chris Squire's Studio in England in the fall of ’79 with production by Onward US, a company jointly owned by radio mover and shaker Lee Abrams and Yes bassist Chris Squire. That album, ”It's What's Inside That Counts“, layered Mick Fazz's melodic vocals and the dual-guitar assault of Mick Fazz and Dave Owen for a classic power pop, or what might then have been considered New Wave-ish, sound with a hard rock edge and pop songwriting components. The album was released on the MCA label Oct 3, 1980. The group spent the rest of that year and much of 1981 touring. Critical Mass then changed its band line up as guitarist Dave Owen and drummer Mike Barone left the band, with bassist Henry LaPlume staying on board Added to the line up were Frank Prinzel and Tom Vasquez respectively. Prinzel having been a previous member and part of the 1978 two song 45 quartet which had included Tom McWilliams on drums and Al Schwartz on bass. This iteration of Critical Mass did some touring and headed into Criteria Studios to begin recording material for a follow up album to “It's What's Outside That Counts“. Critical Mass was paired with the sibling production and engineering team of Ron and Howard Albert. Atlantic and Polydor records had expressed interest in the band but the music scene was changing and the hard edge of punk and new wave was succumbing to the more processed offerings of hair bands and Sade. The band produced some respectable offerings but alas, the “industry” wasn't biting. Over the years the Critical Mass line up has varied widely with the one consistent ingredient being the creative mastermind Mick Fazz. Now based in the Orlando, Florida area, "The Mass" has been gigging and recording off and on for years. Mick Fazz has partnered with local radio personality Mark Samansky on several projects and in addition, stepped out with an innovative project called “The Basements” a musical trio consisting of only a drummer (Phil Fleetwood) and two bassist's one being commanded by Fazz who handled the vocals as well. The current Critical Mass lineup features Frank Patterson on Bass. Frank has been playing in the Central Florida area for about 20 years. The bulk of that time as a guitarist and bassist for Jill Towers & Heat. One of the most popular bands in Central Florida during the 80s and 90s. The drummer for The Mass is Phil Fleetwood, who's background includes The Generators, a band that recorded 3 albums and was featured on the nationally released Breakout USA CD. Issued by The Westwood One Radio Network, the project featured the top 15 unsigned bands in the country in 1991. After a quarter century Mick and the Mass are releasing another self produced offering entitled, “It’s What Counts That’s Inside“. The project is a result of a partnering of Mick and former Mass alum Frank Prinzel. Using the resources of the Internet as a vehicle to once again present Critical Mass’ music to the world, "It’s What Counts That’s Inside" serves up more of that hard rock edge and pop songwriting style in a scorching, head banging, moshing, frenzy. [edit] One contribution I can make it a better world for a girl child.
- This request for creation has been reviewed. The result is below.
- If your request was declined and you want to make changes and try again, copy and paste your article into a new submission and make your changes there.
My contribution to make a better world for a girl child is work untirelessly to enhance and educate the people about the importance of treating both the male and female alike. The world we live in is full of unforgiving inequality. Generally in India people do not prefer girl child due to various reasons. Mostly the girl children are not preferred in the rural areas. They think girl child as a burden for them. They don’t send the girl child to study in schools as boys. The girl child is deprived of her rights in rural areas. The girl child is also killed before her birth. However, the girl child has been suffering and still encountering situations where equality is ignored and therefore discrimination takes place. The reasons for this may be their religious beliefs or some other reasons. Illiteracy is also one of the reason for not preferring girl child. Poverty is also a reason for not preferring the girl child in India. The girl child should also get equal rights as a male child gets. The elemental concept of democracy (countries where applies) should be based on the equality of human beings. It was clear that an atmosphere has to be built to make it possible for the girls to abandon work and join to schools. Parents too had to be given confidence that they were taking the right decision in sending their daughters to schools. An assurance had to be given that their children would be given all the attention and care. More important the message that the one and only alternative to the drudgery and discrimination of girls is through education had to be made explicit. The education of girls through attendance in full time schools is crucial to liberate the girls from their daily chores. It enables them cope with the problem of gender discrimination. Schooling also provides a break in the habits and culture, which stultifies the growth of the girl child. It opens up options and possibilities new dreams and a newer future. Female infanticide should be abolished. The girl child should be treated equal to boys, as both are the creation of God. We can make the parents realize by educating the parents about the importance of girl child. We should not employ the girl child as servants at houses, offices etc. Law should punish those who employ the girl child. But not only the government the people should also work for equality of girl child. So, everyone should contribute for the equality of both the male and the female.

[edit] Landing Ships Logistic LSL
The Landing Ship Logistic is a term used by the UK armed forces to describe the Sir class Landing Ship used for support of amphibious warfare missions. These ships are operated by the Royal Fleet Auxilliary. Only one ship is left is service Sir Bedivere and the class has been replaced by the new bay class which are described as landing ship dock LSD.
The landing ships logistics (LSL) are often been described as a cross between a Roll On / Roll Off Vessel and landing ship.
Their main roles and capabilities are:
- To transport troops vehicles and equipment (often between Marchwood and Antwerp). * To do this the vessels have doors and ramps at the stern and bow and internal ramps between decks making them truly drive through. They also have a crane forward of the superstructure for on/off loading equipment
- They can carry aircraft on the helicopter pad behind the main superstructure and on the vehicle deck.
- They also have facilities to carry ammunition, repair vehicles and equipment.
- These vessels also have the capability of offloading directly onto a beech. To do this they have a shallow draughts (they are virtually flat bottomed) and two large anchors at the stern which they drop at sea before beaching and later use to pull them selves back out to sea. The ships are also capable of carrying mexifloats which can support military vehicles.

Armand Boisvert, a Naugatuck resident, came into this world April 31st, 1984. His father was a carpenter, his mother was a carpenter's wife. Boisvert is French for "Dunk he head in the water". Armand gained recognition as an influential film critic which spawned the Armand Boisvert Award for Film Excellence. Strangely only Denzel Washington pictures have been awarded this coveted prize. Armand comes from humble roots. He was written up a number of times as a student at Stonehill College as a result of late night drinking escapades with some of his loser friends. His first write up came during Columbus day weekend of his Freshman year, where he and some friends were apparantley talking too loud at a late hour. Some say intoxication raises the level of those intoxicated's voices, but there is no scientific proof to validate that. Regardless, RA's swarmed the room, and in an attempt to conceal his alcoholic container, he hid it behind him spilling it in the process, thus drawing more attention to aforementioned alcoholic container. He was apprehended for underage drinking and shot in the leg repeatly for his crime of passion. His second write up came at a party that he was himself hosting. However, his nemesis, the evil Stephen Borne crashed this party, breaking it up on account of loudness, citating all party goers, including Armand. This time the punishment would be far worse.....his parents were to be notified. While on a break, Armand rushed home, hid the letter addressed to his parents that tied him to his dark past and thought he could start over with a clean slate. Little did Armand know, that there was a third chapter to this epic tale. His third and final write up came Valentine's Day of that same Freshman year. Depressed that there was no fire station to put his fire man in, and fearing that he would die alone, Armand turned to the bottle. At a crowded party which saw Jay Christensen jump to his death, Armand was written up for underage drinking. However he was able to avoid quite hour charges on account that it was still early in the evening. He had to reveal his web of lies to his parents Rose Mary and Armand Sr. Rose Mary slipped into a coma and Armand Sr. had to take a job as an electrician in addition to his original job as a carpenter in order to pay for her escalating medical bills. In the mean time Armand took up residence in the Half Way house with 2 overweight girls. Armand left Stonehill after his Freshman year to mixed reviews. [edit] Armand Returns2 years later Armand returned to Stonehill. Armand picked up right where he left off, with his vertically challenged but horizonatly expanding body and red cheeks. He had curly hair this time which no one expected or welcomed. Armand was finished off that evening by those who were closed to him......his former counterparts, "Team Armand". |

If you want to make changes and try again, copy and paste your article into a new submission and make your changes there. Armand was the leader of movement that took Stonehill College by storm. Originated early in 2002, Team Armand reached great heights, in particular when he fell out of the chair both times and when he was caught eating DP Dough out of the trash. Armand also liked to pull a lot of dick moves, such as computing. This organization was 3 people deep: Armand was the leader, Jared Gilpatrick, his roommate was the brass of the organization living by the motto "Drink Beer and Fight, and Tom Kabara was the brains behind the operations. Team Armand had a reunion special on MTV in the Spring of 2006, but after the event the Gilpatrick and Kabara exchanged words with Boisvert and they have not spoken since. Gilpatrick and Kabara collaborate on the Board of Directors currently. [edit] Ruse Records Progressive Neurofunk Drum and Bass Record Label

[edit] a/d/s/
a/d/s/(analog and digital systems) was a speaker company in the 70s,80s and early 90s. They were bought out by a company called DEI (Directed Electronics) in the early 1990s. And own them to this day. Many people would consider a/d/s/ to be an audiophile company. They made expensive high quality speakers. A/d/s/ used to be a very reputable company before DEI. but still make quality speakers today.
