Kurzweil Educational Systems, Inc. is an American based company that specialises in providing reading and writing software to assist people who are blind or partially sighted, or who have learning disabilities, such as dyslexia and Attention Deficit Disorder. Founded in 1996, the company has pioneered the development of assistive technology, and achieved worldwide recognition for its work. Kurzweil Educational Systems has also won several excellence awards within its industry. Its headquarters are based in Bedford, Massachusetts.

The company supplies two principal products to its customers - Kurzweil 1000 and Kurzweil 3000. Kurzweil 1000 is a package which enables a visually impaired user to gain access to both electronic and printed material by speaking aloud text which has been scanned or copied; while Kurzweil 3000 is a reading, writing and learning medium aimed mainly at students who are struggling to keep up in the academic environment.

Amanda Bowman is a British disc jockey, who currently presents the weekday mid morning show, Across Midday, between 10am and 1pm on Nottingham based radio station Saga 106.6 FM.

Her broadcasting career began in the mid 1980s while she was working for Radio Trent. Initially one of the station's Careline presenters, she went on to host a show at Trent in her own right, before later taking a career break in order to bring up her children. Returning to the airwaves in the 1990s, she presented shows on Trent's mediumwave service, GEM-AM, then the Classic Gold network after GEM became one of many AM services to be taken over by the network. At Classic Gold, she hosted the breakfast show and was later a lunchtime presenter, before leaving to join SAGA.

She has been a presenter at SAGA since 2005.

Suzanne Mizzi, born December 1, 1967 on the Mediteranean island of Malta, is a former glamour model. She made regular appearances as a Page Three girl in the British newspaper The Sun during the 1980s and 1990s, before going on to have a career as a catwalk model, as well as becoming a minor film and pop star. She has been less prominent in more recent times.

As of 2006, she is a practicing artist and interior designer, and exhibits her work at London's Rainbird Fine Art Gallery. She also runs an interior and building design consultancy business.

Suzanne is married to her long term boyfriend with whom she has one child.

Caring is a suburb 3 miles south-east to the town of Maidstone, Kent. It belongs to the district of Leeds CP

3 miles south-east from Maidstone and between Otham and Leeds the area of Caring is located. It's a part where many modern farmhouses (in the style of old hop drying houses) with big estates are located. The district is well known for high percentage of rich people living there. Especially the famous race driver Nick Hartwell resides there. An other attraction is is the old Vineyard, a free tourist feature.

Origins of the Ahl-i-Hadis movement started in early 19th century and related to a movement initiated by Shah Waliullah (1703-1762) of Delhi. The Ahl-i-Hadits came under severe criticism for not acknowledging the existence of the sunni schools and came to be known as ghair mukallid or non-conformists. They believed that every Muslim of sufficient learning can draw his own conclusions from the Quran and Hadith and not rely on opinions and decisions of the classical jurists. Waliullah’s works were carried on by a number of his disciples such as Shah Sayyid Ahmed (1786-1850) of Rae Bareili. The movement’s central message was the purification of faith which had been infiltrated by the Hindu culture.

The movement developed in Bengal under the leadership of Mualana Abu Abdullah Mansur Rahman Ansari, who came to Dhaka in the 1860s. Ansari was appointed Imam of the Ahl-i-Hadis Jam-i-Masjid and head teacher of the madrassa attached to the mosque. Ansari’s preaching was largely done in the Dhaka and Mymmensingh region where he managed to influence a large number of people including Haji Badruddin (1800-1875) a wealthy merchant from Dhaka, Maulana Ibrahim of Mymmensingh and Aminuddin of Bakerganj, who later became leading Ahl-i-Hadis members in Bengal.

Ansari’s sons, Maulana Abdul Jabbar Ansari and Abdul Hakim Ansari took up the cause of their father and helped spread the Ahl-i-Hadis cause in the rural areas of Mymmensingh. Haji Badruddin helped the movement financially, sending out different preachers to different areas of Bengal and Bihar. In the same period Mualanas Wilayat Ali and Inayat Ali emerged as the leading personalities of the movement takings it message to the far corners of Bengal and attracting large number of followers.

To consolidate their efforts the movement was turned into an organisation under the heading the All-India Ahl-i-Hadis Coneference in 1906 at Lucknow, India. Later in 1914, the Anjuman-i-Ahl-i-Hadis of Bengal and Assam was created. The reason behind forming a committee is as follows:

(i) to answer questions relating to its doctrines

(ii) preach it in different areas of the country; and

(iii) unite the members of the movement under a banner The Anjuman translated the Quran into Bengali, participated in open debates and discussions in propagating the movement.

The Wahhabi Trials (1868-71) led by the British Government meant that any ‘revivalist’ religious activities were suppressed. Many of the Ahl-i-Hadis men were arrested which led to the disintegration of the Anjuman leading into the 20th century. During this period Maulana Abdullahil Kafee al-Quraishi came forward to uphold it’s caused and founded the Bogra Ahl-i-Hadis Samiti in 1920 giving the movement a new direction. Under Quraishi’s leadership many centres were opened for propagation. The movement continued and in 1946 the All Bengal and Assam Jamat-i-Ahl-i-Haids was created at the Rangpur Conference with its headquarters at Calcutta. The offices later shifted to Pabna after partition in March 1948. Steps were also taken to form district and local jamats (organisations).

May 1949, Maulana Abdullahahil Baqi established the Ahl-i-Hadis Printing and Publishing House at Pabna and later that year published the first issue of the monthly Tarjumanum Hadis under the editorship of its president, Al-Kafee al-Quraishi. The organisation's name changed to East Pakistan Jamat-i-Ahl-i-Hadis after partition (1947).

An 1886 theatre located at 219 Exhibition Street, Melbourne. It is classified by the National Trust and is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.

Purchased in 2000 by Mike Walsh, the theatre was restored and refitted to accomodate larger productions.

Rijul Gupta was born on December 19th 1992, in a little town in Oklahoma. Ever since he was little he has influenced the lives of every one around him. He becomes an inspiration to everyone.

Ever since he was yound Rijul has always been intrested in learning. He starting reading when he was just three years old has continued to read many grade levels past his age. He was intellegent from the start. When he was five he was enrolled in a "head start" program, for children advanced in academics, at a local private school. He continued to go to school their until 1st grade when he moved to a very small public school. There he exelled in everything he did.

By the first day at his new school, all the teachers new he was special. He could add, subtract, multiply, and even do long divison. Ever since then he has been doing accelerated math, and has been studying on his own in other subjects. During his 7th grade year Rijul studied pre-algebra, an 8th grade math class, and blew through it with outstanding results. The next year he took algebra, a ninth grade class, and at the same time studied geometry, a ninth grade class, and continues on this advanced legacy.

Rijul was also very competitive in academics too. Ever since he was allowed to, fourth grade, he has been competing in academic tournaments. So far he has collected 23 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and 1 bronze medals, out of a possible 26 medals. He also competed in is school Academic Bowl team and has been captain all three years. In his first year, a team comprised of 6th and 7th graders, he led his team to win 1st place in both district and regionals. The next year, 7th grade, he was allowed to play on the 6th and 7th grade team as well as a team with 8th graders. He was captaing of both teams. HIs 6th and 7th grade team won first in both district and regionals only to place fourth in state. Although on his team with 8th graders, he led to win first in district, regionals, and state. Similarly in his 8th grade year.

When Rijul turned nine years old, his parents enrolled him into drum lessons. It was hard in the begining but he stuck with it. This gave him a life long hobby and a springboard for a musical background. The next year he pleaded until he was allowed to take piano lessons. Instantly, he showed an extreme musical gift. His parents continued to allow him to take trumpet the next year, guitar the next and violin the year after that. Sometimes his dad even gave him lessons in the harmonica. Today Rijul can has mastered the art of music in six intruments.

Rijul competes in sports. He is a major player of his basketball team. He also enjoys to play golf and likes to play chess with his father.

Rijul Gupta has changed many peoples lives forever. They can never forget what he did for them. He inspired every one he meets and is a joy to his friends and family. He is a great student, a feirce competitor, and good athelete, and an excellent musician. All these elements and many more comprise the wonderful person that is Rijul Gupta

Peter Bell, B.1990,proud member of Grangemouth High School has been highly regarded as a legend among it's current pupils. His acts of charity go highly regerded, for Children in Need he shaved his hair in the classroom of one "Mr. Torney" and a piece of this hair has been preserved in a coffie jar for pupils to remember this legendary event. One of his more interesting attributes is his ability to eat far more than the average human body could digest, most of this being Haribo sweets. Teachers have also accepted his needs and alow him to eat in class until he is content, although this moment has yet to come.
