[edit] Vanguard Team

The Vanguard Team is a team of Autobot sint he Transformers: Cybertron(Galaxy Force in Japan) cartoon series.

The team consists of First Gunner(Red Alert), Exigeyser(Hot Shot) and Backgild(Scattorshot) in new upgraded bodies. Their logo is a standard Autobot emblem backed with a red V.

They are renamed the Cybertron Defense Team in the US. The naming may simply be for trademark purposes, however, it may have also been changed to avoid any unwanted association with the white nationalist movement National Vanguard.
