[edit] Review by Batmanand
- Coverage and factuality: 5
- It starts well; the history section (and to a lesser extent its subarticle) are excellent, convering the area very well. The other sections (with the possible exception of the politics one) are just not long enough; more content is badly needed. The only part other than the history section (and lead) that are up to standard is the Ivorian civil war article. Also, there are no inline citations, and only the standard CIA factbook/State Department references. This is the article's greatest weakness, and needs urgent attention.
- Writing style: 8
- Where there is content, it is absolutely fine.
- Structure: 8
- Lead is fine at the moment, but will need to be expanded when the article reaches its proper length. Subarticle system is fine (even though content frequently is not), but on the page itself there should be summaries of the material in those articles. Image placement is fine.
- Aesthetics: 7
- Images are not terribly inspiring, and more are needed. A better map would also help. Images in the subarticles also need improvement. Templates are very nice, though.
- Overall: 5.5 (not an average, I know, but I rate coverage and factuality considerably above aestetics, for example)
