Thanks for your interest in my question. I've found out (from art school friends) that the painting is a Portrait of the Poet and Philosopher Vladimir Soloviev, by Ivan Kramskoy. --Sheldon Bartleby (talk) 19:36, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
