ArtistOfTheCentury is the official internet name give to Troy Edward Primeaux. He has used this same name on Yahoo, MSN, Google, AOL, Graffiti.net and MySpace and he has used this name since 1998.
Troy Edward Primeaux is the son of Edward Primeaux (born June 1, 1940, died July 5, 1993) and Glenda Faye Perry Van-Eaton (born March 6, 1946). He was born in Port Sulphur, Louisiana on April 29, 1964 and spent his childhood living in various towns, cities and countries including Brighton (England), Berlin (Germany), Gonzales (Louisiana), Baton Rouge (Louisiana), Kaplan (Louisiana), Lafayette (Louisiana), Maurice (Louisiana), New Orleans (Louisiana), Metairie (Louisiana), Hephzibah (Georgia), Augusta (Georgia), Atlanta (Georgia), Nashville (Tennessee), Hendersonville (Tennessee), Bellaire (Texas), Houston (Texas), and Katy (Texas).
Troy's father, Edward, was a retired officer in the U.S. Army and was involved in many top secret Psy-Ops and Black-Ops programs for various government organizations. It is widely rumored that Troy has been linked to many of these programs as well in a civilian capacity and has been seen in the prescence of many high-ranking officials and key players in the use of high technology experiments in various parts of the world, such as Canada, South America, Europe and the Pacific Rim. Troy has never publically commented on these news events. Some sources have linked Troy's Father to the CIA and there is strong evidence to support Troy's involvment as well.
As a hobby, Edward was also involved in NHRA Drag Racing, which sparked the early love for cars that Troy now possesses. Glenda divorced Troy's father in 1976 and remarried Raymond Andrew Van-Eaton, Jr who was the President of Mills-Bennett Estates, a mulit-million dollar indepedent oil company based in Houston, Texas. Troy has 2 blood brothers, and 2 blood sisters, and 3 step-brothers and 2 step-sisters. Some of Troy's family are in real estate, stocks and bonds, engineering, and auto racing. He does not wish to list the names of his siblings nor which companies they are involved with.
Troy Edward Primeaux currently lives in the Houston suburb of Katy, Texas with his wife Flor Esperanza (Hope), with whom he has built a 17 year marriage with. He is the father of Shawn Lee Bell (born August 15, 1986) and Jolie Nichole Price (born February 6, 1985) and twin girls (whose names have been withheld - born December of 1994), and the grandfather of Zoe Maree Bell (born December 23, 2005). He currently operates a private Consulting Company on behalf of Mid-Texas Estate Planning, LLP and his company owns offices in Houston and Dallas and has a total of 48 employees. His wife Hope is a licensed Occupational Therapist and works as an independent contractor for Texas Children's Hospital. Troy owns property in Bogota, Colombia, St. Croix, Louisiana and Texas and is the sole heir to the Primeaux Family Trust which is rumored to be worth in ecxess of $ 26 million dollars.
Troy is the owner of the largest international fan group for the Canadian rock group, RUSH. RUSH is a band that was founded in 1974 and currently consists of Geddy Lee, Neil Peart and Alex Lifeson. The website URL is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RushFanGroup_3 and currently has members from 35 nations totally over 4,200 strong. In addition, Troy owns a group dedicated to RUSH fans who live in the greater Houston Metropolitan area. That URL is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RushFansInHouston. A new group was just formed for Neil Peart fans who wish to retrace all the travels done by the world famous drummer in which Troy and his members participate: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NeilPeartFans. RushFanGroup_3 originally started with 2 members in 1998 on MSN Groups, but has since moved to Yahoo Groups and has amassed a very loyal following.
Troy is a graduate of Louisiana State University (Valedictorian), University of Southwestern Louisiana (now called University of Louisiana at Lafayette), Ayers Institute and Technical College (Valedictorian) and has a Electrical Engineering degree and is a current member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He has worked in various occupations including Retail Management, Musical Engineering, Musical Production, Sound Engineering, Independent Studio Performances on Acoustic and Electric Guitars, Electrical Engineering, and Consulting.
Troy has also recorded, produced and engineered two albums for his Christian Rock band, Diamond in 1984 and 1985. He wrote all of the lyrics, sang some vocals and played acoustic and electric guitars on all songs. Diamond has disbanded and the members do not have contact with each other due to a conflict in the the musical direction the band was going in. When Troy was only 10 years old, he became the youngest person to ever be named to the "All State Performing Band" in the state of Louisiana as a trombonist. The following year, he gave up his trombone for a trumpet and lost the All State ranking to his cousin, Dwayne Jude Perry. At the age of 12, Troy attempted to learn playing alto saxophone, but soon lost interest after reportingly seeing a concert by a band troupe of jazz musicians. Eventually, Troy learned to play the six-string acoustic guitar and made his first demo record, for which he wrote, performed, produced and engineered the song which was a two side disc 45rpm record that contained "Someone Like You" on side A and "Here I Am" on side B. Christian rock artist legend Phil Johnson re-recorded "Someone Like You", which eventually became a top ten hit on Christian radio.
Troy wrote and published a book in 1997 called "33 Years On This Journey" which was bought and distributed by Sword Libraries Company but the book was taken out of print in 2001 due to poor sales. The book was a collection of drawings, photos, poems, short stories and essays written strictly as art, but contained many auto-biographical themes. It was reviewed by the Baton Rouge, Louisiana newspaper called "The Morning Advocate" with a great review but it was not enough to create interest in the general public.
In 2004, Troy was involved with a lawsuit against a major government organization and it was settled for an undisclosed amount of money. It has been rumored to have been for an incident involving a government owned vehicle greatly injuring his youngest daughter but the facts of the case have been kept in the strictest of confidence by all parties involved.
In 2006, KPMG Accounting Firm listed Troy's company as one of their clients, among much speculation that all of KPMG's existing clients have been linked to suspicious activity involving the events of September 11, 2001. This same year, Houston-based Fulbright & Jaworski, one of the largest law firms in the world, awarded Troy with a major contract, the details of which have not been disclosed publically.
As of 2008, a majority of Troy's information has been increasingly private, arousing suspicious ties to organized crime families in Bogota, Colombia, where he owns an oceanside villa in Santa Marta.
