[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:The-King-in-Yellow-(Wrap).gif)
Yeah, I tried to upload a scan of a century-old book, but I messed up the code to get it to appear on the page and it's gone now. Live and learn. Artemis-Arethusa 00:09, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
- If you still have the scan, upolaod it again and i'll help get it onto the proepr page if you like. DES (talk) 14:38, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Art Green, The Hairy Who and Chicago Imagists
Hi Artemis-Arethusa, my research reveals that The Hairy Who was a Chicago group in the 1960s that put on a few shows. After Art Green left Chicago and the group, the Chicago Imagists was formed by remaining members of The Hairy Who and some new members. I will update the Chicago Imagists article to reflect this. - Thanks for starting the Imagists article. I probably wouldn't have realized that I knew enough about them to make an article. Clerks. 15:54, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Vanity gallery undelted
Because i noticed your commetns at the Villlage Pump, Vanity gallery has been undelted. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. DES (talk) 14:39, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- You are quite welcome. Someone deleted it, I presuem, but the deletion log entry is missing, so i have no idea who or for what reason. Since I don't see any obvious reason for the deletion, I treated it as if I ahd come upon it with a speedy tag. Log glitches do happen sometimes. DES (talk) 21:11, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Merge made
To let you know I have carried out the merge at Eglinton Tournament of 1839. Charles Matthews 13:25, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] no user page
I just saw your post at WP:VPA. To stop people from posting to your User page by accident, you can do two things:
- Modify your signature under "my preferences" (upper right of the page). Add [[User talk:Artemis-Arethusa|Artemis-Arethusa]] to the signature box and click the "Raw Signature" box. That way anyone that clicks on your username on any page that you have signed is automatically directed to your talk page.
- Create your user page as a redirect to your talk page. The only drawback of this is that then your user page does technically exist.
At a minimum, you may wish to do #1 to make it harder for people to accidentally get to your user page. -- Flyguy649 talk contribs 19:41, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

Nicely done on that page. Looks really, really good. — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 05:06, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Dc5.jpg
Hello again. Just wanted to let you know that I added Dc5.jpg to the list of images to be deleted (as a follow-up to the discussion on the village pump). — HelloAnnyong [ t · c ] 05:27, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] AfD nomination of Jill King
I have nominated Jill King, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jill King. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. - Okay, that's good to know. Glad to see someone is taking AfD in stride. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 17:22, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

- Yeah. Just check my talk page archives, there're tons of people who have chewed me out for listing their pages for deletion. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 17:41, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
