[edit] Birthdate

Allmusic.com has his birthdate as 1952. Not sure where they got that information, though, so I'm not changing anything yet. Jmcnally 04:19, 20 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Discography

Added "First Thought Best Thought" collection released in 2006 by Audika records. Funks 16:45, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] plagiarism

All of the content on this page was plagiarized from Russell's Discogs.com bio (http://www.discogs.com/artist/Arthur+Russell) so I deleted it.P4k 08:40, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Are you sure? Discogs, like Wikipedia, is based on user-submitted content; I find it equally as plausible that they copied from us. Moreover, the content in question was added to Wikipedia by User:CacHA, who according to his userpage is qualified in this area and would therefore have the capacity to write it himself. I'm sorry, I forgot that discogs content was user-submitted too. You're completely right. I've reverted the article. P4k 09:21, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] References

I stuck a bunch of links to online articles and quotes at the bottom of this page in my userspace, although they aren't organized at all. Apparently David Toop wrote an article about him for The Wire in 2003, but I don't have access to that.--P4k 20:36, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
