Talk:Arthur Brown (musician)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Does anybody have information on the studios in Switzerland that Arthur Brown recorded at?
I am afraid not, but Athur Brown used to be a lecturer on a Popular Music course that I was on in 1999. He informed us that he was actually born in 1942, but in 1968, being 26 was considered too old! Terry Keen

[edit] Spontaneous Apple Creation
I have removed the sarcastic inverted commas from the word ordained in the opening sentence, "The Rev. Arthur Brown ('ordained' in the Universal Life Church)". The Universal Life Church is bona fied by the UN and the USA to which Wikipedia is edited from. Therefore he has been ordained and the controversy surrounded by the Universal Life Church and its' methods of ordaining should not be discussed here.
Does anybody have information on how long it took Arthur Brown to compose his Spontaneous Apple Creation song?
[edit] "banned in the united states"
i did a pretty zealous scouring of the internet for something on this and found absolutely nothing indicating he was banned from the united states except for an about.com article that linked to a gig history page (the owner of the page asked wikipedia to stop linking to it, for whatever reason. you can find it via google pretty easily though). the webpage cited that he played a show in texas in 2001, so unless he was banned within the last five years... he wasn't and the assertion is completely false. --Friendship hurricane 18:18, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] deleted reference
Have deleted the following, as it contains no time reference:
Arthur and Nick now tour as a duo and are selling out every venue they play.

[edit] 4 Octave range?
It's so often that people get credited with a large number of octaves vocal range that is impossible to achieve and I seriously doubt from Arthur Brown's recording that he even used a 2 octave range. If no one can find anything to back up this supposed 4 octave range then probably the text should be removed. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Robojam (talk • contribs) 18:23, 4 May 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Creator of Corpse Paint?
Should it be mention that he is probably the creator of corpse paint? 4.238.155.76 (talk) 13:54, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
