Talk:Arthrodesis
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I felt this page required some major expansion. I was debating about adding information about specific arthrodeses, but felt that describing procedures to that level of detail was probably beyond the scope of the encyclopaedia. I realise that there are other (congenital, metabolic, neuropathic, etc) causes of intractible joint pain for which arthrodesis may be indicated, and I may at some point come back and compile a list. However, dear reader, if you feel you are appropriately qualified to do so, please feel free to do this yourself. Happy wiki-ing! Mattopaedia 14:35, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Pictures
Look at the Swedish artikel about arthrodesis. There is images of my left shoulder, I´ve gone through three surgeries within a year. The two last ones was arthrodesis on the shoulder. First attempt didn´t work so they had to make a moore extensive operation, as you can see on the pics. Please feel free to use them on this article and if there´s anyone who has the same problem, please feel free to contact me on my talk side. Arthrodesis on the shoulder is very unusual. /Johsan 21:37, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Could someone please
Could someone please break this article into sections according to the guidelines suggested at Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style_(Medicine-related_articles)#Diseases.2Fdisorders.2Fsyndromes? It would be a big improvement for the readers. WhatamIdoing (talk) 20:01, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
