Art is a joke of a musician, he is not a kind person (he sometimes makes degrading comments to passersby...I've heard it and almost kicked his teeth in for it) and most of all I don't think he meets Wikipedia:Notability (music) standards for inclusion. His inclusion on the Madison, Wisconsin page degrades the worthiness of true musicans like Leo Sidran, and Clyde Stubblefield.--205.219.133.241 18:59, 10 January 2006 (UTC)

  • The Badger Herald article is the only credible source given thus far and all info not found within it or on one of the acceptable external links (not the open content ones) has been or will be removed.--Hraefen 16:39, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
  • OK, I've done what I can to bring this page in line with WP:Verifiability. Some of the other claims made are still pretty questionable, but oh well for now. Please add credible sources for all information, even if you are are the subject of the article.--Hraefen 16:57, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

If Art is going to on here - may as well add the Piccolo guy (Pat Ryan?). If borderline mental stability coupled with extrovertism is enough to qualify then let's be consistent and add in Piccolo, Scanner Dan and any other local area notable. I agree with other comments that it takes away from the real musical talents Madison has produced or homes.

````Has Pat Ryan toured the United States ? I'm ART PAUL and I've performed in other parts of the USA.I have played on the street in Boulder Colorado and in Seatle Washington and I even played an open mic in Seatle Washington.I also performed in Milwaukee,The Twin Cities and Aurora,Illinoise.Maybe the Piccolo guy is as famous as me I don't know and if you type a page up for him I wouldn't delete it or one for Scanner Dan but did either of them send Dr Demento a CD and get it played on the Funny 5 ? Check it out at http://mypage.iu.edu/~jbmorris/FAQ/drd01.0708.html we are not talking about someone who just wants to be in Wikipedia. I have a song in the Top 15 of the Folk pop section of http://www.mp3tunes.com and a CD in the folk pop top 15 too.My paintings have sold and been mailed all over the USA.But believe me not if you want.I wish when I had been doing this I took better evidence.Well thanks for the fun and have a good week-APSArtpaul 18:20, 9 March 2006 (UTC)
