Héctor Arturo Sanhueza Medel (born March 11, 1978) is a Chilean football player, who currently plays midfield for the Chilean club Colo-Colo. Sanhueza is the team captain since David Henriquez left the team.

Sanhueza began his career with the second division Chilean club Fernández Vial. He than spent time on Everton and Santiago Wanderers of Chile before making the move to Colo-Colo in 2005. Sanhueza ended up signing a contract extension to stay with Colo-Colo until 2011[1].
