Arturo Morua

Arturo Morua (born on May 3, 1978) from his hometown of Guadalajara, Mexico, is a professional boxer, whos nickname is "El Silencioso", and fought numerous times on Telefutura and Telemundo.

In October 2001, Morua toke on hard hitting, Cosme Rivera (21-6-2) and defeated him by UD12 to win the WBA Fedecentro Light Welterweight Title.

In July 20, 2007, 2004 Olympian, "El Pollo" Alex De Jesus (14-0, 9 KOs) scored his biggest win as a pro with a unanimous decision over former two-time world title challenger Arturo "El Silencioso" Morua (23-10-1, 13 KOs) on Friday night at the Kissimmee Civic Center in Kissimmee, Florida. De Jesus claimed the WBO Latin and WBA FEDECENTRO welterweight titles with a 116-112, 116-112, 115-113 verdict.
