Artur Kutscher

Arthur Kutscher (July 17, 1878, Hannover - August 29, 1960, Munich) was a German historian of literature and researcher in dramatics.

In 1915 Kutscher became professor in Munich. Together with Max Herrmann he can be seen as a founding father of dramatics. His work influenced many playwrights and writers. Amongst his students were Peter Hacks, Bertolt Brecht and Hanns Johst.
