Artur Balder is the German author of the children's dark-fantasy novel series Curdy, with publisher Random House, and of a very extended biography in the form of historic novels entirely dedicated to German hero Arminius and the subsequent Germanic wars of the first century A.D.
His works have been translated into Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian, Polish among others.
He was born in Munich and graduated from Musikhochshule München. He worked as a journalist in Spain before starting his novelist career in 2004.
