The castle is so popular and famous, that it was the main motive of one of the most famous collectors coins: the Austrian 10 euro The Castle of Artstetten Coin, minted in October 13, 2004. The coin’s obverse shows the castle of Artstetten standing above the Danube River on the threshold to the region of Wachau.
