The Artichoke cactus (Obregonia denegrii) is a species of cactus. It is the sole species of the genus Obregonia, named after Álvaro Obregón. This rare species resembles an inverted green pine cone with a wooly center. It grows slow in culture and doesn't need much water. It likes (full) sun and is multiplied by seed.
