Arthur Rutenberg Homes

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Arthur Rutenberg Homes is one of America's largest luxury-home franchises, in business since 1953 when founder Arthur Rutenberg moved from Chicago to Florida at age 26 and started his business with one house under the brand name Rutenberg Homes. In 1978 he sold his first franchise.[1]

In 1993 Builder Magazine named Rutenberg a Legend of Residential Marketing. In 1996 he was inducted into the Florida Housing Hall of Fame, and most recently in 2008, he has been quoted as an expert about the housing industry slump in the Saint Petersberg Times [2], the Herald Tribune [3], and the Orlando Sentinel. Both the Orlando Sentinel and the Tampa Bay Home Seeker have called Rutenberg a "legendary builder." [4]

Arthur Rutenberg Homes franchises are operated in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
