Arthur Hellyer

Arthur George Lee Hellyer was a well-known British horticulturalist. He was born on December 16th, 1902. He died on January 28th, 1993.

He wrote many influential gardening books, and was editor of Amateur Gardening for 21 years[1] . He was a founder of the Hardy Plant Society[2].
