Arthur Francis Hemming (1893-1964) was an English entomologist who specialised in Lepidoptera,.

Hemming was a civil servant and amateur lepidopterist. An expert in nomenclature, he was Secretary to the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature and editor of the Bulletin of Zoological Nomenclature. During his lifetime he published over 1,000 scientific papers on Lepidoptera.
