Arthur Arntzen

Arthur Arntzen (born 29 April 1906 in Borge, died 28 March 1997) was a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party.
He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Østfold in 1945, and was re-elected on two occasions. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the term 1937–1945.
Arntzen was a member of Borge municipality council in the periods 1934–1937, 1947–1951 and 1951–1955, and served as mayor in 1955–1958. He chaired the regional party chapter from 1948 to 1954, and was a member of the national party board from 1949 to 1953.
Outside of politics, he worked in insurance, as a treasurer and an auditor. He was active in the International Organisation of Good Templars.
