Chosen as a member of Ukraine's 2006 World Cup Squad, Milevsky earned his first cap for his country's senior side in the 2006 FIFA World Cup on June 19th against Saudi Arabia, coming on as a substitute in the 86th minute for Ukraine's legendary Andriy Shevchenko. In the second round match in which Ukraine faced Switzerland, Milevskiy was one of the three Ukrainian kickers who successfully scored their penalty following a grueling scoreless tie which spanned 120 minutes.
