ArtDaily is an Internet-based media company founded in 1996 by editor-in-chief Ignacio Villarreal and a group of professionals in the art world. Its website is presented as an online newspaper, with content updated each day of the week. Its headquarters are located in Mexico City.

ArtDaily covers a variety of topics. Art, painting, photography and sculpture. ArtDaily has sections dedicated to anecdotes, architecture, art fairs, artists, auctions, digital art, education, featured stories, galleries, milestones, museums, mythology, photographers, special photos, 3D images, screensavers, puzzles, special reports and 360 degree images.
ArtDaily also delivers a newsletter to a large base of subscribers each day. An ArtDaily search engines allow visitors to access a large database of art facts. ArtDaily is free and can be accessed by anyone.

ArtDaily was born when its editor, Ignacio Villarreal, took his passion for art and decided to show the World the wonders of art through the new media called the Internet in 1996. Ignacio Villarreal is one of Mexico's premiere graphic designer, art book editor and advertising creative. Since the mid 1980's Ignacio Publisher an arts magazine titled Espacio. After this magazine another came titled Museums. The sudden burst of the Internet motivated Ignacio to take his magazine to the Internet and conbert it into ArtDaily, the first art newspaper on the net.
