Artcade

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

ArtCade is a Washington, DC based arts and culture online magazine dedicated to giving young artists more exposure and making the arts more accessible to the public. Artcade uses it's fresh/hip/well-designed website to encourage dialogue about the arts, music, and culture that surrounds the Washington Metropolitan area. This collective of artists and designers also create DIY events for all demographics to debunk the idea that art functions are "stuffy" and "pretentious." Artcade Magazine is developed and produced by Washingtonian art students, founded in June 2007. Future plans of a printed magazine are pending.
