Artavazd (Artiom) Karamyan (Armenian: Արտավազդ Քարամյան, born on November 14, 1979 in Yerevan, Soviet Union) is an Armenian football midfielder. He currently plays for the Romanian team Politehnica Timişoara in the left midfield position. During 2004-2007 period, Artavazd was playing for Rapid Bucureşti and was in the list of best 5 players. He is also a member of the Armenia national team, has participated in 39 international matches and scored 2 goals since his debut in away friendly match against Guatemala on January 9, 2000. His main merits are speed and free kicks. Artavazd is also very popular player on computer games, and is ranked amongst the best along with Dennis Radionov and Igli Tare. He has an identical twin brother Arman, who also plays for Politehnica Timişoara.
