Art comics (often printed as minicomics) are comics or comic books that play with conventional narratives and or combine aspects of regular comics with artist's book and zine type aesthetics. Art comics may be printed in small editioned runs that employ various printmaking techniques such as silkscreen, photocopying, linocuts, or rubber stamps.
